I was just being a smart ass, my experience with various HR folks over the years was, managers get off with barely a notice, let a subordinate do something questionable, and they want to talk to you. Just for the record, I walked off from a meeting one time, when my boss was talking down to me in front of my peers. Walked out Wed afternoon, didn't return until Monday, no calls in to report sick. nothing. Just begging to be fired, they didn't. So Monday morning, he (boss) sticks his head in my office, and said he wants to see me in his office in five minutes. I ignored him and went about my business, never heard a damn thing more about it. The shame was, we'd worked together for almost 20 years, and I did learn a lot from him, just not how to treat subordinates. I felt some remorse over our relationship going to shit before he retired.

My co-worker physically threatened me when I didn't back down over confronting her about her behavior. I predict she won't be around much longer as this has become a pattern of behavior with her. She's a mean, hateful woman who thinks she can treat people like shit and get away with it.

Please make sure this is reported, every time it happens and preferably by different people.
Otherwise she might actually be correct about being able to get away with it. At least way longer than you would prefer.

Lack of sleep. I’d been sleeping really well for a month, but the last two nights have been shit. Fingers crossed.
 
Doctors that schedule appointments months in advance and then cancel at very last moment.
 
My son was in a tournament yesterday. And illegal move by the opponent has caused him to have a possible concussion. Last time they went against each other, my child ended up with some broken ribs.

It's taking everything I've got not to go Mama Bear on that kid, his parent's for raising a turd, and worst of all the asshole coach that allows/encourages that behavior.

If it isn’t followed up with clear, age approriate consequences and a plan of action to avoid things like these in the future, I’d ask for a meeting with the trainer and their superior.
