What pissed you off today?

did you have one of those enormously frustrating moments when your internet cuts out at THE worst possible moment? I hate it when that happens. It always happens during skype calls and ALWAYS with the most wretched timing -.-

It was during a skype call  are you watching me?

My phone decided to suicide from my pocket while I was on my motorbike >:[ I couldn't find it driving where I had driven :( Now I do not have it and I presume at this point it's been pummelled into the pavement.

Ingrown hair. How difficult can it be for a hair to know which direction to grow? But oh, no, this one stupid follicle has decided to go all snowflake and be a unique individual, growing hair in all the wrong directions. I mean, really, you stupid little hole on the skin want to push the hair inside my body instead of out?

The in-house conselor deciding that I wouldn't be able to handle what she is calling "survivor guilt" and I shouldn't be allowed to transfer back to palative care. I could understand this if we had talked or even met, but I've never had any contact with her. In fact she wasn't even working here when I switch over to wound care. So how does she figure she knows whether I can handle it or not? I worked palative for eight years, I know what I can and can not handle. So, on her word...transfer denied, WTF!!!

Not so much pissed me off as made me cry, but whatever. I broke my front tooth...the one that was already chipped. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm vain, and it really upset me. :(

Thank you.

My mother is making me an appointment with the dentist. There's a crack in it that runs about halfway up my tooth, so she wants me to get it fixed, so that it doesn't eventually crack all the way up and break in half. One of hers actually did that, and it was rough. I feel doubly guilty now that my mama has to pay for me to go to the dentist because I don't have insurance and because I was stupid and chomped down on a fork tine by accident. :(

Then, to top it all off, I posted something on my Facebook about breaking my tooth, and this bitch I went to high school with decided she'd take that opportunity to lecture me about my foul language. Yeah...because that's REALLY what I needed right then.

Can I just go back to bed and start this day over?

Two words: Delete Friend. that said, I am sorry about your tooth. Mouth issues of any type just suck.

A certain someone who didnt wish me happy birthday, I'm sure theres a good reason :(

Insomnia even my boring blog doesn't cure. Ugh. And boyfriend comes home tomorrow so one must be well rested.

I'm sorry that's horrible :( All of it. And you may call yourself vain, but I don't think you're any more vain than the rest of us!! I can not tell you how many nightmares I've had about my teeth falling out -.-

My former roommate's bitching. My God, nothing satisfies her. She'd bitch if she were hung with a new rope.

Un café con leche.
Where do Spaniards get the nerve to make coffee masculine, when any good Romanian knows it is feminine!?

(the background to this: I'm obviously Romanian and I'm starting to learn Spanish in quasi organised fashion. I find these kinds of differences to be quite amusing.)

It pissed me off today to cross the US-Canada border 150 km east of Montreal and feel unwelcome in my own country. I have absolutely no problem with the signs in French. I can read enough to get by and think French is a beautiful sounding language. Heck I was even engaged to a Quebecois francophone. But the complete lack of any signs in English is a disgrace. This is a bilingual country. Bi means two and last I checked, Quebec was still part of this country.

As soon as I crossed into Ontario the signs were bilingual. Hhmm

Doesn't Quebec make a somewhat semi regular ruckus about splitting off and doing their own thing?

Try being French only in Alberta, the offical language of the legislature is English.

I've only been to Edmonton and don't recall seeing anyone speaking French, except some of my colleagues from Quebec who were there on business like I was.

It's my understanding though that everyone dealing with the Federal government has the right to be served in either official language.
