What pissed you off today?

What pissed me off today? Nothing yet however watching SF lose to LA on opening day, now that made me pissed.

I turned 57 back on Monday , plus the discovery that I really could have had my hearts desire, as far back as twenty years ago. So there's some personal grieving going on over here on my side of the screen.

And I've been attacked in three places on the internet all at once. Each time, I've asked onlookers 'what did I do wrong?" and they've said 'naw dude it isn't you." Sometimes I wonder if me feeling vulnerable is the signal for random, formerly okay people to turn into an orc.

The fact that I could not find ANY MOTIVATION this afternoon, despite copius amounts of coffee. Why?!?! Grrrr.....

Hell! It's a quarter-to-siesta! Here'a a chennille bathrobe, some fuzzy bumblebee slippers, and a cup of Gypsy Cold Care tea!
:rose:
(it's a real tea, and it's great for a cold!)

Oh man. I just saw this! That all sounds just lovely, thank you.

And yes, I know. I already love your tea on those sniffly kinda days. Please keep up the good work! :)

Sounds lametastic for sure. Hmmm. Any chance you have a sadistic roomy who secretly switched you to decaf?

Damn top-of-the-neck-down-to-the-elbow pain. Feels like someone is twisting my muscle into a tightly knotted pretzel!

Can you say "muscle relaxant"?
:(

Not quite "pissed off" territory, and it was yesterday, but learning that I will have knee surgery next week put an onion in my ice cream.

Yug. Not a fun thing to go through, but presumably it will, in the long run, result in more mobility and less pain. I'll wish for you a quick recovery with a minimum of discomfort and disruption of your life.

I'm with Sir W. I hope it goes as easily and painlessly as possible. :rose:

P.S. When they say stay off of it for awhile, they mean it. If you don't do it, you'll be like my mother. Several years after her 3 knee surgeries (2 on one knee, 1 on the other), she still bitches because her knees "aren't right." Not that it could possibly be her own fault or anything.

Thanks, guys. At least I'll have the perfect excuse to sit on the couch and watch golf all weekend. ;)

Make sure you keep up with any exercise they give you for recuperation. Jumping up and down and yelling at the golf on TV is not considered good exercise

Oh man. Not so awesometacular. I hope it goes well and that you are kind to your knee while it heals.

ILliterotica.

FFS, using Google Translate is more comprehensible than some of this shiat!

You need an excuse to sit on the couch and watch the Masters all next weekend??? I thought the Masters WAS the excuse!

It is, for sure. My post was written for that sad part of the population that might think The Masters is some kind of single-tail competition.

I'll keep this in mind, though I am a true golf fan. I never yell, only whisper.

You, my dear, know the way to my heart. I will, in fact, be stocking up on fluffernutter componentry when I go out for victuals later today. It's a tradition unlike any other.

Good lord, everybody in the world has gone full-on stupid today. Stupid and bitchy. This does not bode well for my blood pressure or their continued good health.

Happily singing birds , resplendant in the glory of spring...AT FOUR FUCKING THIRTY AM. Go away birdies...or I may go strangle you....grrrr
