At this point, they're stuck with Trump. Unless every state declares him mentally unfit or he dies. I don't know if any states have a provision in their law for a candidate willingly stepping down - not that Trump would, but it's not an option from what I understand. ie in Ohio the only way to alter the ballot after the deadline is if the candidate is declared mentally incompetent or dead. With just over 70 days to the election, it's a Trump/Vance ticket.

Even when originalist justices, the most scrupulous devotees of American “democracy” in the country, strengthen majoritarianism, as they did handing the abortion issue back to voters where it belonged, Democrats have a collective fainting spell over the future of “democracy.”

Democrats are positive that asking someone to prove an ID before voting portends the rise of the Fourth Reich, but they have no problem pressuring private companies to censor political speech, ignoring the Supreme Court, unilaterally breaking millions of private contracts to buy votes, using executive power to circumvent the will of voters, and throwing the leading opposition candidate off ballots.

Weiss got caught in a scandalous plea deal which would have given Hunter Biden unlimited immunity, fuck off with your bullshit! Weiss allowed 2 of Hunter Biden’s major tax evasion violations to outrun the statute of limitations even when IRS whistleblowers attempted an investigation and were told to stand down. There is enough credible circumstantial evidence to open up an investigation into Joe Biden’s family fraudulent business practices. There’s enough evidence to impanel a grand jury. That won’t happen because the DOJ is running a protection racket for the Biden’s.

The Alvin Bragg indictment is an outrageous use of lawfare in an attempt to eliminate Trump from campaigning for the White House. Letitia James is an embarrassment to our legal system and so isn’t judge Engoron. Both should be disbarred for abuse of power. No victims in either case.
