What to do when your poem sucks the big one?

I think one of the greatest breakthroughs one can make in poetry is when we finally learn to let go. :)

congratulate myself because it will invariably mean i've grown since i wrote it.

Given that I only wrote it a week ago, I'm not seeing much in personal growth here.

Anyways, I deleted that sucker off my HD and now will go on as if it never existed. I figure if it's something I'm meant to write, it will resurface.
