Yah, I think I'd like to cook with you. And while that can (and should) be taken as a euphemism, I meant it literally.

I really enjoy making meals with people who know their way around a kitchen.

Executive Chef sets the menu, and I have no issues deferring to those whose skills/knowledge I recognize as superior to my own. It's a subtle way I have of expanding my own skills/knowledge.
Of course I'm likely to ask questions and make suggestions...

It's been a great food day!

We started with waffles, nutella, raspberry jam and cream for breakfast.
For lunch I had a smoothie, made from spinach, apple, avocado, mint, banana and pineapple.
For dinner we had Salade Nicoise. Don't know if it qualifies as salad of some sort but it was really yummy!

I think you might enjoy this. Its a melange of some mediterreanean , isreali, North Africa...those countries that blend so well on the plate and have made beautiful cultural richness. I think there was a tv show a few years ago.....not sure if you can stream or find on air over there?

Good old-fashioned bacon, mushroom cheeseburger. With sides of bacon wrapped mushrooms, tater tots, deviled eggs and pickled asparagus.

My mom raised the beef, my husband formed the patties, I made the mayo and the pickles. Sadly neither the cheese nor the buns were home made.

The book under the plate is called Propaganda. It's a book of photos from the Soviet Union. It's a fascinating book, really. Everything's so big, perfect and well organized.
