Woot! It's not just me!

Well, I already knew that actually... seeing as I got into the habit of chilling my port wine from a friend who did the same thing. He'll actually go so far as to add an ice cube to his sometimes. Just one or two, though... not like he'll pour it *over* ice or anything. Ew.

i have YET to try the charles shaw... trader joe's in our state won't carry it because the tax on wine would ruin the marketing campaign. friggin' morons.

I don't think your red wine will go BAD from chilling. I mean, it won't mildew. It just won't taste like anything, because you'll have numbed the flavor out of it, shaken it to death every time the fridge cuts on or off, and added a few notes of refridgerator taste.

But, you know, if you don't have a wine connoisseur coming to dinner, and it's just for your own enjoyment, then do whatever makes you happy. Hey, I used to peel all the toppings off pizza before eating it. *shrug*
