I’m a little older than the group of youngsters called Boomers, but thought I’d chime in. As long as the systems are functioning properly, there is no reason to stop. As so many have already said, it’s free, feels great, and helps keep the systems working! For me, before a heart attack a few months ago and new meds that mess up the ability to achieve an erection regularly, I would masturbate several times a week, sometimes twice a day, if the mood struck. Reading great stories on Literotica sure helps keep the mood on track. I believe after the Doc jets meds balanced, the erections can return. Otherwise, I may have to resort to other methods of getting the old soldier to stand up!

I am 58 and up until about 2 years ago masturbated daily.

My "new" wife has a huge sex drive and we have some form of sexual play 7 - 10 times a week so there is little will on my part to masturbate. I would guess I now masturbate about 1 or 2 times a month (when I cant resist a beautiful scented worn pair of her panties) and also if I am travelling.

I would think that the only time I would stop completely is when I can no longer get it up but time will tell.
