hi yssej, I haven't seen you for a few days....i had some trouble with my name, I believe I'm going to resubmit under this name, and see what happens.....I have already written to the 3rd part....just waiting for one to come up, so i know i'm doing it all right. Laurel responded to a pm today, and said she would try to get my name back up, but i really think the email isn't right. if i have to submit again, that will mean another 7 day wait....i hate that, but i'm really trying to hold on to my patience here (think of it like getting presents late for your birthday, it just extends the fun) (don't people always say that suspense is more than half the fun?)

Don't think I'm not here. I am, i thought it was weird for sethp to post good morning, but thats because things like that on forums i use often are well, punished. lol. This is why I have some what been withdrawn from posting.

anyway, my first story that you liked i kind of deemed "work in progress" and set in on my back burners. I started my second story, I am most likely going to finish it before i go back and readjust the first. I'm afraid to ask you to edit it, because it probably is alot of work, perhaps i should have been a better English student.

anyway, ill send you a copy of it IF you want me to. But, I would prefer some praise/hate for the story. You have your own work ahead i see, forgetting an assignment is pretty harsh. So don't think its a plea for an edit.

oh, please....first of all, no allowed being mean in here, this thread is here for people who need help, or want to help, that's the reason there is no name in the thread's name.....

second of all, of course I want to see your story, don't give it another thought, and I would love it if you would let me edit for you, i swear. It's easier through email, but you can pm me with that. If you are not comfortable with that, cut and paste it to pm, but you'll have to pull up both stories, because i won't be able to make special notations of where I made changes, either one is easy for me, i cut and paste to to my own word processing program to edit.

I really would like to see your story, and don't worry about my own stories, they are coming along fine......
pm me with what you want to do....

I see that you two have kind of become a support network for one another. I'm really wanting an editor. May I join your ranks over here? I'm happy to read your work, too, and make comments and suggestions - however you wish.

I gave it a look-see for her yssej, she was in a hurry, so I didn't want to make her wait. It was good.....did you read her first story? It only came out a couple of days ago, and it's pretty good, I think you would like it.

I'm glad that you liked the first one. It is my first one ever, so I'm glad to get constructive feedback on it. How will I improve if I don't get responses?

The new one is in response to the CD Challenge - so there is a rubber duck involved - LOL.

Yes - Ryleigh is my main character - and this takes place the day after. Frank calls her up and invites her over for some fun. (Frank being the bartender from the first story.)

My first entry was more 'vanilla' - and I submitted it under erotic couplings. When they posted it, they changed it to BDSM. Not sure it fits there, but at least now, after chatting with a few other authors, I understand why.

If you want to read it - please PM me and I'll be glad to send it. My hope is to submit it early tomorrow so that I can get it in with the others in the challenge.

And - hugs again to meg1 for being so awesome!

yssej, i think you will like this most recent story even more than the last one. I did anyway.

Update on my own story, it's still under review, but it's been moved to this name, so I don't have to resubmit (unless it's rejected). I'll keep everyone posted on it's progress as I find out.

1.) I got a response from Laurel, and she moved the story to this name. I feel good that it should be up soon.

2.) I submitted another story this morning. I submitted to the incest category. Don't ask, no advanced copies will be going out. I want to let the suspense build. Trust me, you'll like it.

Hope everyone is having a great day! I've got to go pretend to be an adult, and do some work. I'll be in and out during the day, see you around.

I couldn't help it, it popped up into my head and stayed there until I wrote it. It's way shorter than the other story i'm writing, just under 2,500 words (that's part of the reason I got it out so quickly). I'll have more to follow it, not sure if inspiration will hit quickly or not, but I'll just submit to it as it comes.

oh, you'll do more than hang in there, you are are strong, you'll succeed.

if i could sit down and stick to one thing, i would be doing better. I think i need some ADD meds...LOL, been flitting through all my chores, but not really finishing anyone thing.

chapt 4 is also not flowing for me (it'll flow for a while, then everything will drop out and i'll be stuck again), it helps that i know where i'm going, but getting there has been a trial.
