I hope that all those struggling in some way with their partners can find some balance in their lives.![]()

eudaemonia said:You've probably seen this, but Cate started a nice thread about it , calleding Defining Love.
My personal take is there are different classifications of love: familial love, romantic love, friendship, for example. Their are different qualities to each of them, such as passion, infatuation, affection, caring, respect.
Even within familial love there are classifications. Love for a parent is quite a different experience than love for one's own child. Each type involves caring and probably some degree of affection, but respect is probably more a quality you have towards your own parents rather han towards your kids (until they mature of course). Likewise, romantic love is exhibited by an intense sexual-emotional regard for each other, where friendship doesn't have that quality.
Well, I just hijacked my own thread! Maybe I'll continue this in the Defining Love thread. Checkitout!
Good choice. If we could all just be as we follow our journeys through life, perhaps more of the journey would make sense to us.eudaemonia said:Be
