I looked up at him as I picked up the phone.

We were in the kitchen and he was pouring milk on his cereal.

As I spoke with my mother, I couldn't help but grin at the drop that ran down his chin. I leaned over and licked it up.

I raised my hand to shield my eyes as I searched for my kite.

"There it is, Rufus! Look through that gap in the branches."

It was way too high to climb, so we pulled on the line. It ended up breaking. That kite is still there to this day.
