You don’t protect my freedom

So then you're batshit partisan crazy. Gotcha.

Says the guy who thinks 18k a year = living large...HAHAHAHAHAHA

Or are you saying that because I don't think everything revolves around the constitution?

Batshit. Partisan. Crazy.

What's the difference between 'need' and 'want' ?

Because in your posts, they seem to be the same thing. Also, you have a problem with pronouns and superlatives.

Batshit. Partisan. Crazy.

How so??Because I don't agree with you that 18k/year = living like a millionaire?? LOL and you call me nuts.

What's the difference between 'need' and 'want' ?

The ability to purchase.....

Because no one needs any of the bullshit we have here in america.....not a single fucking bit of it

1st world living is not nessicary....are you suggesting we go back to throwing spears at wild game and living in meandering groups fighting over who gets what land to hunt/gather on? Because that's all we NEED.

I'm a scientist not an engerish professor....

So you want to name a town where 18k is ballin the fuck out like a millionaire so I can look up the statistics on it and smash you with them? Or are you going to dance around and deflect from doing that too?

I'm betting the latter....show me just 1 town in the US where 18,000 USD = 1,000,000 USD. Show me the apt that only cost .07c a month...let's see the years supply of food for .10c...show me this magical town in the US. I want to move there cuz I got a fuck load more than 18k.

Do that and I'll bend over and kiss my own ass...then yours just after publicly stating how wrong I was and that I stand corrected by PayDay and moving to magicville where 18k/year isn't sucking total shit.

$18,000 is not living large, and all of the people I gave as an example of rags to riches came from families making less. You can look it up.

I know. But payday seems to think it is...

I believe you...doesn't change the fact that you're more likely to win hundreds of mega millions in the fuckin lottery than you are to make a billion (1%'ers) the good ol' fashioned capitalist way....unless you're politically connected.

Considering the odds of the lottery.....that doesn't speak well for upward mobility in the current US economic climate.

It can and DOES happen.... the lucky lucky LUCKY few.

For most of use peasants though making in a year what one of the rich do in a couple hrs....would be ballin' the fuck out.

Only way around it is to circumvent the rules of the game....(that means break the law) to make anything close that bread.

LOL name one place in the US where 18k lets you live like a millionaire.

You can't because youz full of shit....only place that flies is in a 3rd world shit hole.

You didn't understand what I was saying. Could be because I am not very good at explaining things.
There are places where that amount is above the average that a family makes. I live in Ms. and there are many counties where the average take home by families do not come up to that. We are not the only state where that happens.
Do you realize that the Veterans Administration thinks that if a veteran makes that much money he should go to a regular doctor and is not given treatment he was promised at a VA hospital? Do you realize that the amount can be several thousands of $ less than that and the veteran will not get treatment.

You can search for the average income by county in Ms. You can also do that in many other states and find whole counties that have an average income less than that.
And that is right here in the U.S.

You seem to think I think it is when that's not what I wrote at all, feel free to copy it and paste it and say it again.

Also, you are a poor example of a citizen of the United States of America and you have an obvious contempt for the founding principles of hard work and honesty.

Thank you

It's hard to admit that it is possible to make billions from nothing, but you just agreed that it is. Now consider going from poverty to middle class from nothing. Very possible and it happens to millions every generation. The very rich give most of their money away in foundations and prizes, Bill Gates, Warren buffet, George Soros just to name a few of the 125 of the 492 billionaires in the US. There are over 1600 billionaires world wide. Most giving comes from the US

Do you know there are 100 counties in the Y.S. where the average income is below $12.000?
Do you know there are 23 counties in the U.S. where the average income is below $10,000?
Hell 15% of the people in the U.S. live below the poverty level.

Want to take a guess what the average income is in Buffalo County Dakota?
Try $5,213

I would like to say I'm shocked...but I'm not.

Oh I know there are some broke ass counties/folks...that's A PROBLEM.

Do you realize that the Veterans Administration thinks that if a veteran makes that much money he should go to a regular doctor and is not given treatment he was promised at a VA hospital? Do you realize that the amount can be several thousands of $ less than that and the veteran will not get treatment.

Well with the GOP bucking to cut funding and veteran benefits every chance they get I can't IMAGINE why??

Oh I know MS is a broke ass shithole....I was forced to live in the dirty dirt for several years. Food, music and trailer park princess's are great but y'all (the best word from that region) can keep the rest of it.

You seem to think I think it is when that's not what I wrote at all, feel free to copy it and paste it and say it again.

You said living large in support of home slice's 18k=millionaire comment...if you're going to back someone up better make sure you like what they have to say.

But that's cool...Mr.Living large on 18k a year LOL fuckin' broke ass bitch.

Also, you are a poor example of a citizen of the United States of America and you have an obvious contempt for the founding principles of hard work and honesty.

nah I wouldn't know anything about hard work and honesty I'm just a scum bag disabled veteran turned pistachio orchardist/berry/greens/aquaponics farmer in rural america

Oh I'm sorry did my wanting Wal Mart to pay their employees enough to at least not qualify for food stamps instead of allowing them to subsidize their labor force on food stamps offend your rich folk dick sucking GOP sensibilities?

Tew bad...

It is....but I also said it's really unlikely.

Now consider going from poverty to middle class from nothing. Very possible and it happens to millions every generation.

It is possible...slightly more likely than rags to riches but the rates are some of the worst in the industrialized western 1st world. Upward mobility in america...possible but not so great, you're far more likely to not get anywhere. Your odds of doing better for yourself economically are much better in more than one socialist European nation.

It's like you guys and your love for Reagan care.....the most expensive socialized HC scheeme EVER. UHC? Cheaper...better.....countries with it have a happier, healthier population.....and it's CHEAPER.

Nope.....HUC IS EVOL CUZ SOCIALISM BAD!!! REAGAN KARE IZ DA BEST DANG OH' DANG OH' HEALTH KARE IN THA WHURLD!! I TELL YEW WHUUT!!! HURRRRR VOTE PUBLICAN!!

Dumber.... than... all.... fuck...

Great, they need to start giving it to the state, because bills to pay guys....can't start a 15 year war, blow off all domestic responsibility and just run an eternal tab.

Billz MUST GET PAID, and the RICH MUST PAY THEM, because the poor don't fucking have it.

Get some more cynicism and sarcasm, it seems to be making you a great human being.

Pfffthuehuehehe bitch please....I'm an AMERICAN....the quality of my humanity is irrelevant to the quantity in my bank account.

I may be scummy...but I'm a hard working, tenacious, conniving, scum bag.

Dude, stop spewing that shit. Founding principles.

The US is what it is because of 'negro sweat and blood'.

Nothing to boast about.

Centuries of king and queen rule in most of the world was as bad as slavery and lasted much longer. Man has always be cruel to another man, collectively. Criticism?

Bottom 20%, $18,500 yearly
Billionaires now, born poor.
Ursula Burns
Leonard Delvecchio

Ursela Burns grew up in a housing project in the 50s... that does not make her the lower 20% caste. In fact, probably quite the opposite. Plenty of middle-class americans (like my grandmother) lived in housing projects until HUD made some particularly poor choices in the mid and late 1960s...

Unless you can find something counter to that of course... feel free to let me know.

Leonard Delvecchio isn't from the US, and started his holdings in Italy and Germany, so that doesn't make any sense to include him, since we're talking about wealth inequity in this country.

0/2. Care to try again?

Mobility is possible. You can go from barefoot poverty is a million a year, it's not easy per se, whether or not a standard of living is acceptable is up to you.

Just because the poverty % hasn't changed does not mean people are stuck poor. Maybe some people like being lazy and poor?

Also, there is no 'caste' system in the USA, economic rating brackets just make it seem that way.

Granted, it would be hard to go from nothing to billionaire, but it's not impossible.

Look at your average actor who gets a good role or two due to talent: They become millionaires overnight.

The system is broken because it does not easily allow for wealth gains unless you already had extreme wealth, this is mostly due to a double zero (single no dependants) tax rate being the same as the tax rate for the highest earners.

"Maybe people are lazy." The ultimate rallying cry of those desperate to explain away wealth inequity.

There are MORE poor people now than in the 1950s. Is that because people are lazier now? There is MORE wealth at the top of the economic ladder now than ever before, is that because rich people work harder?

An "average" actor never gets a break... just like an average basketball player or the average boxer, or any other avergage person who works their ass off and does the absolute best that they can. Yet in this country, they are penalized for their birthplace. That is the definition of a caste system.

There is social mobility, but it's a lot less than I think you believe. I can show you numbers about how little people are able to move up out of their birth-station, if you'd like...

Do any of you like anything about this country?

Inequality is in action of person.

..built on the sweat of negros? Please... built on the sweat of AMERICANS.

There are more poor people? Wrong. There are more people at the poverty level due to more entitlement programs and a modifying of what poverty level is.

...and don't dare pull a : "I'm not cynical, everything just sucks." -- because that would make yous hypocritical.

Those who lack the ability to be critical of something, cannot possibly love it.

If you blindly accept that this is the best country in the world, without fighting to make it a better place, you're not patriotic, you're just a blind nationalist.

Also, changing the subject pretty much indicates to me that you have lost the argument.

There are more poor people. That's not wrong. It's empirically proven data-backed evidence.

You're trying to claim that inequality is due to individuals? That's the worst argument I've ever heard.

Do any of you like anything about this country?

Plenty...

Inequality is in action of person.

And policy of the authorities that govern over them.....that means the rich and the politicians they purchase to manage the country. Not the poor and politically powerless....no matter how bad you want the opposite to be true.

..built on the sweat of negros? Please... built on the sweat of AMERICANS.

LOL keep telling yourself that lie....

There are more poor people? Wrong. There are more people at the poverty level due to more entitlement programs and a modifying of what poverty level is.

And the fantasy world of the RWCJ continues.....

...and don't dare pull a : "I'm not cynical, everything just sucks." -- because that would make yous hypocritical.

Never said anything of the sort....but income disparity in america does suck, and it's the rich/politicians who did it...not entitlement programs and modifying what the poverty level is, which is supposed to be modified along with the changing times.
