Actually, they say they won't even mess with you, as long as you aren't talking to someone in a foreign country. I'd also suspect they have that narrowed down even more to specific countries. Then, if you are just asking how the weather is over there and that doesn't trigger any of their code phrases that mean something else, they move on to other people.
But, if "how's the weather over there" happens to be one of their code phrases, you might get a special agent assigned to read your emails for anything else that looks suspicious.
