Apples and peppermint in addition to your coffee (no one is suggesting you replace anything, keep those hands from shaking) are wonderful natural sources to help you wake up and stay awake. Coffee doesn't do much for me other than sate the beast inside me that demands so much of it a day. So, I use peppermint oil in my water if I'm really struggling on the awake side. So, y'all listen to @NewStartQueen, ya hear? I reckon she probably knows a lot more than most of us on a good many things.
