I love Keanu Reeves as a person -- he is a beautiful soul, and a solid action hero. But he has an incredibly limited range as an actor. British accents are not in his toolbox, and watching him do Shakespeare among a brilliant cast was painful.

Jaws was playing beachside and we got to watch it in innertubes floating in the lake, there was a navy dive team swimming around and grabbing people

I think you might be the minority here. Some actors are just better at their craft and that’s why they make the movie what it is.

I don't care about the actor, I care about the acting. To use Tom Cruise, I don't care about his religion, or his girlfriends, or whether he will come out of the closet, or his favorite food. I appreciate his acting and his dedication to his craft.

This! I don’t generally care about what the actor’s personal life. Just how they deliver on a movie. But I’m this way about most things. Your biz is your biz. Has no play on my professional opinion of someone.
