Frankly, “spew” doesn’t give me a negative internal reaction, but I can appreciate in others, that it does.

There’s nothing like belting a musical in the car!See. I miss doing the amount of driving I used to for this reason. Audiobooks or listening to musicals was my go-to in the car. Or listening to my carefully curated playlists that were mood dependent
I used to have lots of carefully curated mix CDs. I mean, I still do and I listen sometimes but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s more of a rarity. My Spotify playlists that I usually listen to are just huge catch alls. I have a couple more specialized but mostly I sort new songs I wanna add into two giant playlists based on the general vibe. And then when I go to listen I find myself just skipping through it on shuffle until I hit something I want.

Oh, I have 1 catch all playlist. The rest are all sorted based on the specific moods I find myself in, even if I'm not doing the activity they were originally created for. I still find myself skipping songs on occassion, but less so within those confines. I'm a playlist-making addict or fiend or diva or... something
