Ummm I usually just throw it down and start it, whatever way gives me the fire faster

We do log cabin to get it hot ...
Like start a bed of coals... Then we just reach a point of chaos and havoc....
It's really kinda sweet....

Pretty much always teepee style for me. Whether I am out camping, or just making a fire in my fireplace, same technique for me…. Unless I am being lazy and use a firelog.

Yeah I run into this issue too. Large fire pits end up requiring larger fires and do tend to go teepee. There’s one gigantic one I have to redo that comes to mind. Although its size is good for roasting a lamb on a spit, as you have a separate fire and just rake the coals where you want them. Mmm. Lamb
