See, sitting outside with you might be all I need
Oh, there's like super smart people colleges there! Alright, let me steal @FistfulOfMyHair's knee scooter so I can get there sooner than hobblingCome to Boston - I'm sure someone around here has to be doing some research like that!
My cats almost never do that for me.

That's very kind. A massage would actually make it worse
Thank you. I know what the issue is though. Seen the specialists. Did the PT. I am now just in that period of life where I have to keep moving and living, with occasional flare-ups from doing basic things, and hope that one day it all stops. Or I die. And then I'm haunting everyone. So, be ready for that.@Chloe_Harper
1. Evaluate the Cause
- Is it from sitting too long? Poor posture? Sleeping wrong?
- Did you lift something heavy?
- Is it chronic (lasting more than 3 months) or acute (new)?
2. Immediate Relief
- Apply heat or cold: Ice packs reduce inflammation in the first 48 hours, then switch to heat for relaxing muscles.
- Gentle stretching: Try yoga poses like Child’s Pose, Cat-Cow, or Knee-to-Chest.
- OTC pain relievers: Ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help temporarily (if your doctor says it's okay).
3. Movement is Key
- Avoid bed rest! Stay active with light walking or swimming.
- Try low-impact exercises like:
- Pilates or yoga for core strength
- Stationary cycling
- Water aerobics
4. Posture & Ergonomics
- Adjust your chair/desk setup if you sit a lot.
- Use lumbar support.
- Don’t hunch over your phone or laptop.
5. Strengthen Your Core
A strong core supports your back. Exercises like:
- Planks (even modified ones)
- Bird-dogs
- Bridges
6. See a Specialist if Needed
- Physical therapist: Can guide you through strengthening/stretching.
- Chiropractor or osteopath: Can check spinal alignment.
- Doctor: If the pain radiates down your leg, is severe, or persistent.
YesOoh, I’ve been there, too! It was also amazing (though mostly too hot)
This is totally your fault... you planted this in my head... I'm just spreading the love...![]()

You are trying to kill me with laughter...Chloe, the bratty ghost
The brattiest ghost you know
Though boys might look at her with fright
The brathouse loves her so
Chloe, the bratty ghost, she couldn't be tamed or mean
You know she'll jump and play, sing and dance all day
The brattiest ghost you've seen
This cracked me up way too much!!!Even Casper-Chloe isn't seeing my butt.
