It started raining here just about when the trick or treaters were heading out, about 6 o'clock, a hard rain that lasted until Sunday night. It put a bit of a crimp into the door to door hauntings.

And you know me, we only use umbrellas up here to act out Gene Kelly scenes.

We actually had more kids than expected! It didn’t end up raining which helped, though it was super windy… some of those kids must have been freezing!

Our craziest Halloween was when we had to be all deet-ed up because it was still warm enough for mosquitoes and West Nile was something we had to be sprayed down for even at recess.
