🎞️Great Film Scenes🎞️

Umberto D

One of Vittorio De Sica's masterpieces. And one of my all time favorite movies.

The beggar scene.

The story of a man and his dog in the postwar Rome. He's a retired professor, reduced to poverty. In this scene, he's thinking to beg in the streets, but he just can't bring himself to do that and he feels so ashamed. His companion is a lovely dog. It's a heart breaking scene. https://i.imgur.com/wfd5CXF.gif

As Martin Scorsese said "Umberto D is a great movie about a hero of everyday life."
