The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey

Why the halfling?

"Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps because I am afraid, and he gives me courage."

Not a big fan of The Hobbit trilogy, sadly. But this is a beautiful scene.

The mud fight scene from McLintock.

This settler thought he'd push John Wayne around. John Wayne overpowers him and just goes off: "Now, we'll all calm down!"
"Oh, he's just a little excited!"
"I know, I know. I'm gonna use good judgement. I haven't lost my temper in forty years. But pilgrim, you caused a lot of trouble this morning, might've got somebody killed! And somebody ought to belt you in the mouth! But I won't. I won't. The hell I won't. ! (POW!)

Then the subsequent five-minute fight scene is just more hysterical than it has any right to be.
