Day 6: A song that feels like Sunday

I could prolly think of a better song, but a nice rainy afternoon, watching one of last nights games, recovering from a fun and drunken night out (Murphy’s Law and Agnostic Front), just enjoying the rain…

Wunderhorse - Rain

Day 5: A protest song

(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party) - Beastie Boys

I've probably still never related to lyrics as hard as I related to these the first time I heard this song. I was in elementary school and very bitter about it 🤣
I just pretend he retired quietly to the country in 1999
Unfortunately, this is the appropriate way to enjoy Morrissey's music.

Day 1: A song that gives a warning

Alright friends. I'm coming back in with my free pass for the month.

I found this song a few days ago and I cannot stop listening to it. It's magnificent.

I'm fairly new to Aurora and only really learned about Jacob Collier last week after watching him improv with a symphony orchestra at the Kennedy Center. That was in itself an experience.. This duet is the closest thing to magic I think I have experienced. It's raw and vulnerable yet comforting and dazzling. The maturity and wisdom these two convey is far beyond their years.

You cannot eat money, oh no

Day 6: A song that feels like Sunday

A little old school, 1970s reggae for a Sunday morning.

"Breakfast in bed
Kisses on me
You don't have to say you love me
Breakfast in bed
Love to make you sing
(Hang on me)"

"Breakfast in Bed," Lorna Bennett
