A slow stretch, a smile. Just past golden light filters through the window and I flick the blanket to the other side of the bed. Toes touch the cold floor and I walk to the kitchen, slightly wobbly, as fingers run through tousled hair... the coffee pot is prepped. I flick it on with a touch and wander to the window; I watch the people wandering past, watch a car park. I let my body sway in a barely awake moment.
