🏡PLP's Bazaar of the Bizarre: A Study Hall for the Deviant and Delightful

Right? I'm working on the last one with my wife right now.

She has dental problems that aren't covered by insurance and is always sad and apologizing for being such a hassle and expense. I'm sad for her for her pain and the scary surgeries she has to go through, but it sucks that she feels like a burden to me. I'm grateful that we have the resources to take care of her.

When she won't stop apologizing it make me feel worse - like she doesn't think we're in its together. I start to feel like she thinks I'm so shallow that I care more about the money than I do about her.

Hmm. I guess the right thing to do is to work out way back up that list. We need to communicate better, then maybe we can find more respect for each other, then maybe we can smile and laugh about it!

Thanks for the advice and letting me lay on your couch for a minute, Peeps. Now I know how to handle it. :)

Ugh I do this too. Especially when resources are going strictly to me but you're absolutely right. We had some car issues this morning and my H was apologizing and I had to say - it's no one's fault and we aren't going to act like it is. It's a learning process!
