🐎 🐂Farm and Country Part 2 (And All Things Rural) 🚜 🐓

Love this thread, reminds me of simpler times, peaceful. Loving finding the backroads here in virginia.
Isn’t it great to just drive and get lost and have no idea where you are??

Still do it on occasion when time allows. Every time we go to Pittsburgh, we drive and get lost in the Appalachian mountains in central PA.

Stay away from Pittsburgh. Bad people there. 🤔

I do that often, when my son was 6 i gave him a map of texas. Marked where we lived, my brothers town, my sisters town, san antonio for sea world, galveston, then let him navigate, we never hit a major highway, 2 weeks of fun roads, spontanious stops at "oh lets stop here". Picnics in parks. Memories. Whenever i get to a new job location, i just go on drives,, easier these days with GPS, but still get lost.

Yes, GPS makes it simpler. Last year we got lost in central Pennsylvania and we had no idea where we were until we finally hit route 80. We had no idea (well … littlw idea) we were so far north in the state.

Was a fun day of exploration!
