Yesterday my first guess on wordle was
Grail
Coupe
And then got lucky and solved with
Funky

I like to make guesses that uses all the vowels within first 2 guesses.

Only the U showed up so led me to believe a Y was needed

I was going to guess that the U was the one letter you had. I like to target the vowels to start, also. My first word is "Adieu." So, I had the U to start, and it still took me 4

My results are pretty haphazard, too.
I thought I was getting the hang of it and getting a lot of words in 3, but its been over a week, I think.
And its been a very long time since I hit one in 2.
4 today.

I prefer the hard setting. Meaning once a letter has found it's place it must remain in that space in all following guesses.

I got it in 3 but I am in my early 60s.
