I think I sometimes run out of things to say. And then it's a question of forcing a conversation or letting it go quiet.

Once you start communicating in PMs here, it's basically either friendship or die.

Sometimes it’s friendship, and being okay with long periods of quiet.

I am still friends with people I don’t talk to in private anymore. Doesn’t make me like them any less.

What counts as a ghost?

People get busy, run out of things to say, took too long to answer a long msg and now its too awkward to respond, message got pushed too far down by other messages and the person has a bad memory, and/ or they purposefully ghosted...

But i would guess 9 out of 10, they did not mean to ghost.
