Nikki told me years ago that when that happens it's the beginning of the end. It sucks but it is what it is.

I guess it depends on the situation, sitting in peace next to each other without saying a word is special to me. After knowing someone for years and hearing every problem for years, gets predictable and annoying, so sometimes keeping it short helps. Now if you have new information to distribute, I'll listen and ask questions.
