This week has been nuts for me. No, not finished. I have almost been afraid to be here 'cause the drama on my sonnet seemed too much to me. I don't really know what to make of it as MrT is very special to me and I did not appreciate the whacky back and forth. If I am any kind of poet at all it is entirely due to MrT's encouragement and support of my efforts over the last 30 some months. I plan to catch up my posts in the 30:30 thread. I have a few nearly ready to put up.

As for your sonnet as I told you it was a good one, don't take to heart the comments of someone who is only a pain in the side and gets his kicks from putting others down.

I’m glad you told her I almost didn’t have the heart to do it, the 30/30 is brutal in that regard,

Thanks for the heads up earlier I’m so far out of practice with writing anything I’m already struggling but committed to try at least 30 erotic or at least erotic alluding pieces see how it plays out I’m concerned I’m going to get very repetitive but kicking on anyway

When I get stuck I go and read poetry and often think that's a good idea let me have a think and see if I can't expand on that, make it my own. Try to write ahead of time if you can, so you don't suddenly get into a flap because you haven't got anything for today or at least get an idea down. Jot them down on paper if needs be, because if you're anything like me the world gets in the way and I forget! Don't forget the American sentence, it gets me out of barren times!

Seriously... all that drama over my sonnet screwed up my writing ability and I could not bear to face the board. I just had to take a time out. I will relabel my efforts. Or screw it and try another time.

What should I do about what I have posted already that are not eligible? Crap crap crap.

I kept a file of partial poems/ideas/scraps ready for those days when time was short and the desperation factor was high. American sentences, haiku, and quipy rhymes are you best friends in-between the more substantial stuff.

I'm figuring those poems that were posted briefly in error are my start on the next challenge. MrT says *pirate rules* i guess I should have pulled together 10 or 15 poems before I started to have a stash. Lol

Just use them, they are relatively fresh, and not anywhere else. I say its a win win for everyone. She presents her stuff, we enjoy it. It's not like they're ancient. She is being honest and honorable about it.

Really, anyone of us could have a secret stash and no one would know. Not that I do, mine are fresh daily, liked baked bread.

I will follow the format with second entry.

Does this contest come with beer by any chance?
