I really liked the last verse of cascadiabound's aprilyn 2:21
Hold me close luv
I'm spinning into the night
No anchor but you
Hold me close luv
As I fall asleep
The moon a slim cup in the sky.
Definitely a nugget to polish
Sandra was her name
She was, no, is, my mother
Maybe she knows still
I really enjoyed writing with you too. It is so much easier when you have companions ar this. It has been a pleasure to get to know your voice better.Well done, Mrtenant and Cascadia! I'm glad to have shared most of my 30/30 with you, and it will be a bit lonely in there the next few days. Some very nice writing from both of you.
Well done Cassie and MrT for finishing the marathon!
Congrats to you Cassie and MrT! It's quite a slog isn't it, but you both have some wonderful poetry as a result and the makings of a chapbook.

Thank you all. It is a bit of a marathon. I like it though and am thinking of another go. You all do quite well with it too I might add.
Especial thanks to Cascadiabound, for helping me stay focused enough to make an entry every day. I hope I was of equal help to you at least.

Pushing back the darkness

Callie I just saw that you finished the 30/30. Congrats and thank you for the poetry.
Thank you
It's been an interesting period of time for me, and there were a few times I wasn't sure I'd get it done, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Pretty early on, I just had to decide that it didn't matter as much what I wrote, just that I wrote something.
Thank you

Well done Calli, great job! I gave it a rest but am just doing the 7 day one ...... care to join me?
Day 1
Water has a way
Of finding cracks,
Chinks in its captor
And squeezing out,
Through,
Eroding the area
And making escape
Easier with time.
So happy to see you on the 30:30 thread
Good luck on sticking with it. You are off to a good start.
Thank you. I’ve been looking for somewhere to motivate me to write because I feel like I’m hitting the walls of my brain at times lately. I’m looking forward to seeing how I do..
Welcome Moochienanu, I hope you'll stay and join in out challenges too.
:Rolls out the finish line tape:
Congratulations CB & Mr. T on finishing again! I’m still reading the backlog of your poems in such awe and admiration!
