This reminds me of when the CIA was flooding the ghettos with crack cocaine. The inner city folks knew this was case yet they kept buying.

These people have been warned, repeatedly, of the addictive nature of opioids yet they have gone out of their way to get them.

Sorry but this is just an incredibly ignorant statement that demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of addiction.

Most geniuses occasionally step over the line into madness. Some stay there but the rest somehow manage to come back to sanity bringing insane ideas with them. Some of which actually work.

Again, the things you mention are not prescribed and recommended by a doctor who gets paid to be a dealer.

"Migraines? Take these, it'll be fine. Oh you need more? No problem. Even more, sure thing! Oops, now you're physically addicted. I'll be on the golf course."

If your doctor is doing nothing but throwing pills at you then maybe you should be finding a different doctor.
