Lorhirlondonis awoke in his lair, a large cave high in the mountains. His lair wasn't just an empty cave, it was a comfortable place. There were ever-burning torches, which provided an average amount of light, pillars, several statues, and many other decoration. Overall, the place looked like an underground palace.

The greatest part of his lair was his hoard. A huge mountain of copper, silver, gold, and platinum coins. As well as jewelry, various treasures, and even a few artifacts.

Lorhirlondonis was currently laying on his hoard, thinking about something he rarely thought about. Life. He was about 51 years old, a young adult for a dragon, and he still had many centuries left for him. But that's not what bothered him. He felt lonely.

Raven’s Claw was a small village on the outskirts Honmar Kingdom. It was at a cross roads. Trade and commerce could head over the Dragon Tooth Mountains into the Dwarf and Goblin kingdoms to the west or trade could go south into the elven woods of Kilrim. The small village was a place to resupply and rest before further travels. The backdrop of the rugged mountains made it striking beautiful. The mountains were named dragon tooth for their appearance, but also because great dragons that dwelled there. In the past, mightier realms had formed alliances with the beasts, and had flown them into battle. But that had not happened for many years. Greed on both sides over the hoards of treasure had caused the alliances to breakdown.

Walking down the dirt road through the middle of the street was a lone human woman. Seeing a lone human in Raven’s Claw, was not unusual. But what was unusual, and stopped people short on this summer day was how she looked. She had created a stir because her tiny, yellow blouse clung to her massive, heavy breasts and left her taut midriff bare to the many stares. Dressed in silk, the women was in her 20's. Her skin was flawless in color. Jewels covering her blouse and a large single opal necklace hung from her neck and shone against her tanned white skin, drawing attention to her considerable cleavage and auburn-flecked eyes.

She clearly had some magical powers about her. So although alone, few dared to cause her trouble for fear of being turned into a frog. She approached her small pony which carried her supplies. As she unhitched it, she noticed the crowd watching. Smiling to herself and with a twinkle in her eyes, snakes sprung from her blonde hair, hissing and spitting. The crowd gasped … thinking her a medusa and quickly turned away in shock and horror.

Melonena giggled to herself, a simple illusion, but effective. She led the pony out of the village and headed for the Dragon Tooth mountains. As she traveled she thought about her life, having a talent with magic had been rewarding. She loved it. But being a mage was lonely. Few would trust her, most feared her, some had used her. The ones that had used her for her power had done the most damage, pretending to love her, only to trick her. Better to be lonely, than to fall into that trap again.

She shook off these thoughts, which led to the same conclusion each time. "Focus on safely making it through the mountains" she thought.

It was late in the day, when she made camp by a small creek at the foothills of the mountains.

Lorhirlondonis felt particularly bored today, something odd for his kind. He wasn't really interested in counting his treasures, nor experimenting with magic, or even reading some of the tomes and scrolls from his extensive collection.

No, today he felt... uneasy. What was wrong? Brushing the thought aside, Lorhirlondonis got up and headed out towards his lair's opening.

Reaching the entrance, he could feel the cold mountain winds gusting against him. Not that it bothered him. After all, he was a sliver dragon, and therefore, accustomed to such climates. Whereas a black dragon, or even a green dragon, would find such climates uncomfortable. To him, the chilly wind was comforting and relaxing.

Looking around, he could see the Dragon Tooth mountains, proceeding almost endlessly into the horizon. Many of the peaks were hidden by clouds and even though his lair was several thousand feet above the ground, the mountains continued on for many more.

Spreading his wings, Lorhirlondonis pushed off the rocky ground, with his powerful hind legs, he leapt into the air and, within a few seconds, was flying. Below him were valleys, small peaks, gorges, cliffs, small forests, and many other details that made up the Dragon Tooth Mountains. His eyes picked out every little detail, from the bounding deer, to the pathways constructed by the humanoids species, mainly dwarves and humans.

Melonena had set up her tent, ensured the pony was fed and comfortable, before she began to cook a simple dinner of stewed rabbit, the rabbit caught along the way, and some carrots and roots. “This will help stretch my supplies” she thought, stirring the pot. When she notice the pony looking up from grazing, smelling the air.

Melonena tried to act as if she had not noticed anything, but she listens more closely. A crunching of leaves told her the pony was right, someone or something was close by. She went over to her tent and grabbed her staff.

Lurking in the forests of Dragon Tooth Mountains are some lesser goblin tribes, a menace, they robbed, raped, and killed travelers. When this particular group had seen the single female traveling into the mountains, they had licked their gnarled teeth.

The sadistic group leader, named Marslug told his ten followers. “Greenskin brothers, tonight we’ll have a human bitch to rob, fuck and then eat. I’m not sure which part of me is more excited my cock or my belly!”

Marslug was a six foot tall hobgoblin, powerfully strong, his ten fellow thugs, were normal goblin sized 3 ½ feet tall. All carried various weapons, from maces to short swords.

They had quietly snuck up on the single mage as she cooked her dinner. Getting closer, Marslug had noticed her large breasts and the gem that hung between them. “Hehe” he snickered to one of his band, “can’t wait to fuck those tits”
He looked around … everyone was ready.

“NOW …” he screamed and they all charged at once.

Melonena swung her staff around and outburst a huge fire ball … exploding among the attacking goblins. 5 of them flew away from the blast … landed on the ground and did not get up. Goblins were small and easy to kill, the danger was their large numbers. And the remaining 5 and their powerful leader behind them encircle the mage … laughing, chanting.

“You’ll pay for that BITCH” Marslug said “we are going to tie you up and rape you over and over, maybe even cut off those huge breasts of yours”
As he talked … the circle grew tighter.

Lorhirlondonis sensed the smell of something cooking, and a little ways off, saw a thin trail of smoke, both of which were not unusual in these mountains. Travelers could be responsible for the smell. As for the smoke, the dwarves were probably melting metal and ore to make weapons.

However, that's not all that was wrong. The smoke wasn't like what one would see from a campfire. If was more like the smoke that come from a fireball, or a huge blast of fire.

Instantly, he thought about a red dragon. Red dragons were fire breathers, and were known to live in these mountains, deep within there caves. The thought of another dragon, especially a red, within his domain infuriated him.

He headed off quickly towards the sight where the smoke was coming from, which took only a few seconds, and found out that he was wrong. He had been expecting to encounter a red, either fighting a weaker dragon, or harassing travelers. What he didn't expect to see was what looked like a female human, engaged in combat with a band of goblins.

Goblins! He hated goblins. They were vile creatures, killing travelers, raiding towns and villages, and kidnapping survivors to make there slaves, forced to work in lightless tunnels.

Folding his wings, Lorhirlondonis dived towards the ground, the air whistling past him. At the last second he opened his winds and landed on the rocky ground. He opened his mouth and shot a cone of icy breath towards the nearest goblins. Almost instantly, three of them slowed and died as the bitting cold froze them.

He looked at the leader he glared at him. He was a hobgoblin so therefore the leader since in goblin society, the strongest and dumbest were leaders. He spoke to the leader, in the goblin tongue, with his mind.

Leave now dishonorable whelps, or I'll finish you off like I did to your kin.

The commanding tone of his voice, combined with his inborn draconic magic, was more than enough to nearly cause the leader to quake in fear. His size, power, and... being a dragon, caused the others to run in fear.

Marslug watched as his fellow goblins ran for their lives, he stared at the dragon a few additional seconds and lost control of his bladder. Piss running down his legs as he screamed like a little girl and ran as fast as he could away from the great beast.

Melonena like that so much a big beautiful smiled broke across her lovely face as he ran away. She turned to study the large dragon that had entered the clearing. He was the most beautiful and magnificent creature she had ever seen. Powerful muscle ripped under his silver scales. His face and eyes shone brightly, full of power, wisdom and surprisingly certain kind of vulnerability. “Vulnerability? He was a dragon, how was that possible??” she thought. She relaxed a bit from her fighting stance, knowing from the silver metal color of the dragon scales, and the smell of fresh rain that he was silver dragon. Highly intelligent and not fond of eating humans, however he was still a dragon and care was in order.

“Oh Great Dragon ... your magnificent is beyond words … your arrival was expertly timed and your rescue awe-inspiring” she had been told that dragons loved being talk to like this and she was pilling it on “I’m but a meek wandering mage named Melonena and I’m deeply in your debt for your timely rescue. If there is a service or task I could perform or perhaps a trinket I could offer you for repayment?”

Lorhirlondonis turned to face the mage and a smile crept upon his face at her words. He gave a lit chuckle and nodded his head.

You need not to address me as such human. I'm not like other who seek pride and subservience. I simply took care of those vile creatures.

He paused as he took in her form. She looked like any other of her kind, most humans were indistinguishable from each other, as well as elves and dwarves. However, the magical aura coming from her proved she was a very powerful wizard or sorceress.

Not only that, but she was more.... beautiful than most humans. Something he didn't think he could find possible. Sure humans are an interesting species. More so than the silly elves or reclusive dwarves. This human however was different from the others.

He shook his head in confusion, brushing the thoughts aside.

I need no aid or pay. I simply wished he help. These mountains have grown far more dangerous over the years. Why you're traveling through them is puzzling. It always seems to be winter in these mountains and the temperatures drop to a freezing level. You might not be safe out here without shelter, and shelter in the mountains is not... safe. Do you need?

“I’m so sorry … how embarrassing” she said, her face turning bright red. “You’re the first dragon I have seen, let alone talked to. Please forgive my lack of understanding of your ways” she explained.

She thought for a second before continuing. There seemed to be an instant connection between her and this big dragon. She did not understand it, but her heart told her there was something more she needed to do with him. She did not know what, maybe she needed to help him or learn something from him. Or maybe he was going to help her. But she needed to take him up on his offer.

“If it is not too much of an inconvenience, I would greatly appreciate your hospitality in these mountains. Additionally, I would love to learn more about dragons and their ways. I have read books about them, but there are so much missing and in many cases wrong in books. Like how to converse with them” Melonena smiled and laughed at how stupid she had been before. It made her even more cute, innocent, and attractive. Her large chest jiggling as she laughed.

“It is too late to travel any further today … however, can I offer you some of my rabbit stew?” she asked and then looking at his massive size … she added “Or perhaps I can prepare some of the dead goblins for you?”

Lorhirlondonis gave a small chuckle, You need not be embarrassed. However, I can get food for myself. I had myself a meal a while ago and, even if I were hungry, I wouldn't eat goblin. Disgusting creatures.

He shook his head in revolution at the thought of eating a goblin. Too late to travel? I guess so for you humans. Though my lair is only a short flight away. But if you wish to say here then you can, but I'll get colder as night falls, and the cold in the mountains can quickly claim one's life.

Melonena listen to what he was saying, but part of her mind was in awe of him, watching and analyzing the impressive creature. He was so handsome, powerful, interesting and a little frightening too.

“I’m worried about the pony making it to your home. I shall have a good fire tonight it should keep me warm” and then looking into his deep thoughtful eyes she added with a welcoming and promising voice “and you are welcome to stay with me, tonight”

Pausing … she thought “did I just make a pass at a dragon??“ I can’t believe I just said that! I’ve got to fix it right away. So she added. “ahhh … Stay with me …so I can learn more about your lore, and customs and … mating behaviors”

she thought “WHY DID I SAY MATING BEHAVIORS, he is so attractive I can’t talk straight. I need to shut up for a while.”

Melonena stuck a fork into the rabbit stew and ate a few bits trying to calm herself down.

Lorhirlondonis blinked in surprise at her reply of mating behaviors. He was unsure of what to say. How did one reply to that? He shifted uncomfortably and walked over to the fire beside her.

Maybe his draconic form was making her nervous and, if so, he couldn't blame her. Even though he was only a few feet taller than her in height, his overall length and wind span made him seem much larger.

He took a breath and closed his eyes as he allowed the magic to change him. His scales vanished, the silvery color turning a light tan color. He shrank in size was his wings and tail vanished. Everything about him changed. Within a few seconds, he stood there in human form with straight black hair, and of average height and weight, wearing a silver cloak around him.

Only his eyes didn't changed, silver in color and reptilian like.

"This will probably put you at ease. My draconic form usually causes non-draconic beings to become nervous."

“So the books were correct on your ability to shape shift.” Melonena said a little bit more to herself than to Lorhirlondonis. “You are a very handsome human” she stated, almost drooling over him. “Please have a seat and let me offer you some wine.” Her eyes hopeful that he would stay and stay a long time with ehr tonight.

Lorhirlondonis was, once again, surprised by her comment. A handsome human? Odd, for he wasn't a human, but a dragon, but she probably had a hard time differentiating between his two forms.

"Thanks, I wouldn't mind some wine." He got himself a cup and drank some of the liquid. "So, what else do you wish to know about my kind? You seem very curious about us."

Melonena had always loved knowledge, everything interested her. It was one of the things that made her a good wizard. But dragons held a special place in her heart. They were powerful … graceful …terrible … and at least the metal colored dragons were noble. There was so much she wanted to know, to ask him ...where to start? “At the beginning” her wise old instructor had told her.

“Well, if you don’t mind telling me, what is your story? Who were your parents? How did you come to live in these mountains? And do you rescue human women often?”

"So many questions? You are a curious lot." he said with a grin. It was true, many of the 'lesser' races seemed to always be in a rush. Unlike dragons, who took things in slow and careful contemplation, the other non-draconic races always did thing quickly.

It was one of the many things about them that fascinated him. They could accomplish so much in a short amount of time.

"My tale is a short one when compared to other draconic lives, for I'm a very young dragon." He looked into the fire as he brought up memories of his life.

"Before I continue, I must introduce myself. I've been rude to not do so before. My name is Lorhirlondonis."

He took a breath, "My parents were like any other of there kind. They taught me and my siblings all about life, survival, and much more. I was hatched in these mountains and, when I left to claim my own territory, I just found this valley here."

He turned back towards her, "And no. I don't save many in my domain. Few do travel here through the mountains these days."

Lorhirlondonis is such a pretty name.” Melonena said smiling.

She drank some more wine. “As I said before, I’m so glad to meet you. I have read about Dragons in books, and found them enthralling” she took a few more bites of her stew. “Your story is similar to many humans. They grow up with parents, who care for them, but at a certain age must find their own way in the world. Support themselves, fall in love and start a family. Thus the cycle renews itself” She explained. Unaware she was doing it … one of her hands reached up and started fingering the large opal hanging from her necklace … it was a nervous habit she had picked up. The problem was if Lorhirlondonis looked at the expensive jewel he would also see her deep, massive cleavage. She had added a coat to her silk blouse during the day’s travels, but it was not closed yet … so he had a good view of her sexy figure.

She continued “Again, I don’t mean to pry, but it sounds like you live alone in this valley. Is that correct?” she asked looking into his eyes. Hoping she was correct at her guess. “and if so ... does that get … lonely?” she added.

He nodded, "We dragons are very territorial. A single dragon can have a domain that takes up several square miles. The more powerful, older, and more influential the dragon is, the more domain he can claim as their own. Dragons only share lairs and domains under a few conditions. If there mates, if they're caring for young, going through apprenticeship. Also like you sentinel being when you have homes, you allow visitors, friends, and family, but it's still your home."

He shrugged, "We do get lonely because where a very territorial species, but it's out nature and doesn't bother us much."

He paused and looked at her with a confused and curious look, "Why do you ask?"

She drank some more wine. “I …” she started to answer and then paused … afraid to state her true desires. She decides not to state them “I … was just curious.”

“Humans like to be with other humans. We are more like … ahhh herd animals” she said. Her mind wandering again, her thoughts, “herd animals, that was a bad choice of words, dragons ate herd animals …although he has eaten already and would not eat a human … but I’d love him to eat my pussy”

She continued talking trying to answer his question “so we get lonely, when we are not around others, we like to talk to people, or do things with them. It makes us feel more ... complete.”

She turned a bit more to face him …this action pulled her blouse down some more, her sexy large breasts trying to break free of the blouse. He could almost see the start of her large areolas. Her hand rubbing the smooth jewel as she again looked deep into his eyes. She did not know why she needed to say more, but she did.

“I must confide to you, that I have been thinking quite a bit about being alone during this trip. I have not had good luck with men. I can attract them, but their interests have not been pure. I’ve been hurt, by their tricks.” She paused, her eyes tearing up.

“Perhaps, male dragons are different and not so tricky when it comes to courting a female?” she asked almost laughing.

Lorhirlondonis was startled by her comment and wondered if he had heard her correctly. Had she just asked him for intimacy?

Unions between draconic and non-draconic races where not unheard of, but they where rare. And this human female had pretty much asked to be his mate.

Taking a breath, he looked at her, "What you ask for is bold indeed. Few would make such a comment to a dragon without expecting to face danger."

He moved a little closer to her, "However, I'm of a different mind. I sense your kindness and honesty. You're curious, but think carefully. Do you really want this?"

Melonena mind raced. She had been tricked before. It was how she had lost part of her soul. That was why she was on this journey, to recover it from the one who had stolen it. And here she was again, falling for another handsome man.

NO, not a man, a noble silver dragon!! He had saved her from the goblins, and now he warned her to be sure her heart was not leading her is the wrong direction. It wasn't. She needed him … she was not sure why, but she did. And she thought as she looked into his eyes, that he needed her.

“I have so enjoyed your company … your stories … I cannot explain it … but I feel a connection between us …. I feel … attracted to you.” She stated full of confidence. Certain she was making the correct decision.

“Please sleep here tonight ….with me … I need to feel you close to me, I need you in my bed … I’m not sure how dragons make love but I’m willing to learn” She paused, hoping she had not said too much … or gone too fast … her eyes begging him to say yes and to kiss her.

Lorhirlondonis, wrapping his arm around her, smiled as he leaned in closer to her. "I'll stay with you tonight, both to provide protection form raiders and the winter's cold."

He paused for a moment as he thought about his reply to her, "But concerning you request for mating, that'll have to wait until we get to my lair, where it's safer and we'll have more privacy."

Even though her was a silver dragon, and therefore could breath cold and resist it, his body did provide warmth which would prevent frostbite on her.

He got up and walked away form her. After walking was several feet away, he shifted to his dragon form. The process only took a minute and, once he was finished, he walked over to her and lay down on the ground beside her. "The warmth from my body will keep you safe and comfortable."

There was little else to say. Melonena stoked the fire some, so it would last longer in the night, retrieved her bed roll from her tent, and snuggled up to the big dragon, lying against his belly. He was warm and comforting …and she snuggled closer. But she could not go to sleep right away, there were too many thoughts going through her head. Like … what was she doing? This could not possibly work out, they were different species. What if she could not please him? What if he left her …?

But finally her mind stilled and she fell asleep … and strangely her dreams were erotic …as she thought of the dragon’s tongue on her nipples …it’s forked end flicking over the sensitive areas as she moaned … then she was dreaming of her sucking on his monstrous cock … his dragon tail quivering …the dreams were vivid …and emotional. And they seemed to make her feel better about her decision to tell him how she felt.

Lorhirlondonis awoke from a dreamless sleep as the cold mountain wind blew against him. He felt something against him and, looking down, he was surprised to see a female human lying against him. He was shocked, when suddenly he remembered the events that had happened last night.

Getting up, Lorhirlondonis stretched and gently, prodding her with his snout, to wake her up.

Melonena was still dreaming …grabbed his snout and kissed him …“oh, Lorhirlondonis save me from the goblins …and then make wild love to me again and again” she whispered half asleep, as she tried to kiss him again …the effort seemed to wake her up more. Suddenly, realizing where she was, what she was about to do … and that she had been dream …she stopped and pulled her hands away. Her face becoming bright red.

“Lorhirlondonis” she said a bit shocked

“Is there something wrong?” she asked

Looking around the camp, noticing the fire had burned low at this point. The pony was still asleep in the grassy glade nearby, but nothing seemed wrong. She looked back into Lorhirlondonis’ eyes waiting for his answer.

Lorhirlondonis shook his head.

No, just telling you that it's morning and that we should soon head off. Being out here too long can be dangerous.

He had heard her whispered comments while she was asleep, but didn't mention them to her. He didn't want to embarrass her.

Whenever you're ready, we'll head off to my lair.
