A Dragon's Ransom(closed thread for Poprockz and Justspitballing)

Maddie couldn't call crying diamonds a blessing. Wouldn't that hurt horribly? It kind of felt like a blessing for someone else's benefit, much like her curse. She instantly felt like this being was on her side, even if for her, fifty years would be far to long to keep ones sanity. She wouldn't be able to last a few more days if things kept going the way they were.

"What's your name?" Maddie asked, realizing the man hadn't said it yet.

"And were you an adventurer yourself?" she went onto ponder, looking down at the elves hands, picking up on the suggested skill he had with a bow.

“My name is Ellandril,” he smiled. “And no, actually. Interestingly enough, I was a palace guard. Though my ability could grant me immeasurable wealth, I preferred to work for my dues. Wealth corrupts even the hearts of elves, and I did not want to stray from who I am. I may not be perfect, but I try to live a virtuous life. The only reason the dragons got wind of me was because of a relative of mine who had stumbled on my secret.”

The man scratched the back of his head and regarded her with curiousity, “what about you?”

"I'm supposed to be some grand hero. A dragon hunter and monster slayer known the world over. Maddie The Mad they call me. But you would never believe any of that now," Maddie said, the disappointment in herself clear for all to hear.

"I did make a good bit of wealth, but I never stayed around anywhere long enough to spend it. I always said I would retire young, but the enjoyment of the hunt, I think it would have kept me going forever. Now, who knows if I will ever be able to hunt again."

It was hard not to feel the defeat, but she still had to stay strong. There had to be someway out of this.

She was given a sympathetic look before he answered, “well, even if you’re a dragon slayer and a renowned hero, there are few more difficult hunts than taking on five dragons, one of which is truly ancient. The fact that you’re still alive is incredible in of itself. As long as you’re alive and have your wits about you, there may still be a chance to escape.”

He paused before his eyes lit up, “in fact, I might suggest waiting until Zorgthill comes back. He is the sixth dragon, but he’s been away for a bit. He’s a hoarder of books. Perhaps you can forge a contract with something more powerful than Shuruk to get out of this. Who knows what they’ll ask of you, but it’s worth a shot.”

She pondered this idea, but it felt really risky. Especially since she would have to make agreements with dragons. One thing that did strike her though was that one of the dragons wasn't here. The thought accord to her that maybe she could take one of the items of one of the dragon's hoards and put it in with a different dragon's hoards. They could get extremely greedy and then perhaps they would start fighting each other. And right now that sixth dragon was gone. Did that mean his hoard wasn't guarded?

"Do you know where he keeps his books? Are they well protected while he's gone?" Maddie asked. It was a risky question, but she felt it was worth the risk.

The elf chuckled and shook his head. “It’s in a cave further below us, but it’s an enchanted library, not a pile of books. He takes very good care of them.” He frowned, “or rather, his librarian takes good care of them. Unless the dragon gives you permission to enter, it’s practically suicide to do so- you would never survive. I’m not sure what they keep in there, but I’ve heard people scream as they entered and I never saw them again.”

"Right,... I can wait on Zorgthill," Maddie responded and nodded lightly.

If she had her swords and her armor, and if she wasn't surrounded by five different dragons, it would be well worth the risk of going into the library. In fact she was sure she could handle herself pretty well, but as is? Chances are the dragons would pick up on her missing before she even reached the library. It was a none idea. She would have to admit she was out of her depth and go with Ellandril's suggestion and wait on the sixth dragon and see if she could get access to his books in a proper manor. She would hate to think what Zorgthill would ask for that, but she guessed she would find out.

"This is one dangerous place, but at least there is some kindness here," she said and smiled lightly at Ellandril.

Ellandril’s tight-lipped smile was slightly sad as he nodded at her, “kindness is a luxury that one should savor when they find it and a gift to give to others whenever possible. If you ever need something, let me know and I’ll do my best.” There was a pause before he added, “not because I’m forced to do their bidding and attend to you, but more because I would hate to see you lose yourself as so many others have…” his eyes drifted as he seemed lost in memory for a time.

Maddie would not ever want to unpack such pains with the elf. She would not prod him more. Instead she simply finished her meal. It was simple, plane, to the point, but it was exactly what her body needed. She handed back the tray.

"Anything I need, I'll let you know," Maddie smiled.

She supposed all she could do now was wait on the dragons' move, whatever that would be.

He took the tray and was about to leave when she heard Shuruk’s voice in their head. “Maddie… I desire your presence. Come to me.”

It didn’t sound like he expected any disobedience but his tone wasn’t unkind, merely calm and commanding. Ellandril also seemed to hear something in his own head as his face soured and he sighed, “I’m being told that my presence is needed to shine one of their talons. My apologies, but I must leave- they get grumpy if I delay.”

"Right, of course," Maddie said back to Ellandril.

She didn't try to respond back using her mind. That just felt creepy and it felt like it was inviting the dragons to read her mind even more. Instead she got up and left for Shuruk. She did look down and took in again that she was still wearing the blue silk from the other dragon. Maybe that would cause some jealousy for Shuruk. That would not be a bad thing. If he asked her about it she was sure she could come up with some kind of explanation.

She reached the pile of mithril that he rested on and then let herself be known.

"What do you ask of me?" she said simply.

He cocked his head slightly with interest as he took in her choice of dress. “You look very nice in those fine silks, but I can’t help but feel that we should acquire you some more suitable attire. Did you steal those garnments?”

Before she could answer, the dragon who had been sleeping on the silk pile raised his head and answered for her saying, “no, I gave the little one her garment. She will pay a price for it later… After you sow your seed within her of course.”

Shuruk eyed the dragon warily. “Later indeed. I will inform you when that time comes.” His gaze returned to her and his expression became more relaxed.

“So human, I thought I would do you the gracious courtesy of telling you what your life will be like now that you are under my care. All of your mortal needs will be taken care of, and you will sleep in your own adjacent room. However, you and I shall mate every day until I can smell that my seed has taken root within you. If you ever desire something, make it known and I may bestow it upon you if it is feasible only after I feel you have earned it. You did well to submit to me yesterday, but you still have a long road ahead before you reach your full potential.”

Maddie tried to hold back on smiling as Shuruk talked down to his fellow dragon. His pride indeed ran deep which meant her plans of sowing discord may indeed pay off. It was a good sign at the very least. Hearing Shuruk say she submitted to him though took her positive feelings instantly away. She could never admit to such weakness.

"You can say I submitted, but I would hardly feel strong defeating someone when you outnumbered them five to one. And so you made me... enjoy myself. That says little. Perhaps I'm a size queen and all your dragon brethren will greatly outshine you when it comes their time. I know they are just waiting to show their talents," Maddie grumbled out.

She regretted it a bit after saying it, but it had the very real chance of turning Shuruk more against his other dragons. She smiled, hiding her fears.

The dragon chuckled at her comment and leaned forward, using the blunt side of a talon to tip her chin up. "Oh, my naive young thing. They may indeed make your sensitive body acquiesce to their desires, but you have no idea the things I am capable of." His lips came back to show her a very sharp smile. "You will come to know them in time, though."

He seemed satisfied with the threat of what was to come, the dragon releasing her chin and smirking.

Maddie was starting to not know what was worse, having to put up with this dragon's sexual needs or their arrogance. At least the arrogance could help her out, but her escape could not come soon enough.

"Yes, I'm sure you'll let me know," Maddie said.

She really did need to figure out a way to stoke the angers between these dragons, otherwise she would just be holding up until the sixth one arrived.

"If that was all you wanted to tell me, I'll be heading back to my quarters," Maddie went on. As she turned she held onto her silk covering for the slightest of moments, showing a thigh to the dragon that had given her the garment earlier. Hopefully when Shuruk was next resting she could flirt with the silk dragon some more, then tell Shuruk that he was bothering her. Pitting them against each other was the best move.

The silk dragon was indeed watching her, his red eyes flicking down to her ankle as she gave him a taste of her leg. Though he made no comment, nor did he try to approach her.

Her gesture was not wasted on Shuruk, but he wasn't provoked by it. He knew she would try to play games and that was just how he liked it. Clever ones were always more fun than ones who had nothing but cotton floating around in their heads.

"Actually..." His tail curled around to block her path. "I do require you for one more thing. I want you to go into the forest and collect some Mother's Bounty. It is a red plant with black thorns. I need you as fertile as possible, so I would like Ellandril to make you a tonic out of it once collected. I will warn you though- do not stray too far from this cave. It is pointless to try to escape me."

Could Shuruk be this over confident? It must have been some kind of trick. Still, she had to play it straight, she wouldn't get another chance like this. She turned back to the dragon.

"If I'm to go out into the woods I'll need to be better equipped then this. Unless you want my feet bleeding from ruff ground I'll need proper shoes and clothing. Gloves for dealing with the thorns and a proper blade to defend myself will also be needed," Maddie said, all things she felt were pretty understandable considering.

"And I'll be sure to keep the cave in view at all times. I wouldn't want to cause you a moment of stress," she added.

He considered her requests. Though her words were lies, they were sweet lies nonetheless and that put him in a good mood. Perhaps it hadn't sunk in yet that she was truly indestructible, thus she had no need of a weapon to defend herself. That being said, she could still feel pain. If an ogre smashed her with its club, she would still feel the crunching of her bones as her body crumpled under its weight. He was a most magnanimous dragon, so he supposed he could indulge her.

The large dragon stood before digging around in his pile and coming back to her with both a mythril armor and a mythril blade. He laid them before her and gestured at them. "I think these should be more than enough for you. Feel free to try them on now to see if they fit."

Maddie did not think twice. She quickly undid her silk garment and put on the armor. Letting herself be seen naked for a moment with the dragons not ganging up to rape her gave her back a sense of power and control. As she stood naked, the beast eyes staring down at her large tits and slim form, she was able to take in their gazeses. But it couldn't last forever. She got on the armor and found that the breast coverings at least were to small for her. Not much of a surprise there. The things held tightly, her breasts well peaking up and over the sides, making it feel like they could pop off the armor at any moment. It wouldn't be comfortable, but she could keep them on. If anything it made her more striking. The benefit was this was the lightest armor she had ever worn, and the blade was so light learning to grip it properly was like a new skill. It would help in combat, allowing her to move more quickly then before.

"It will do," Maddie said simply.

There was nowhere on the armor to hold the sword, so she slid the handle into the strap of her panties. With that she said, "I will be back before the sun sets, but I should be able to find your plant without any problems." After that she walked forward, heading towards the entrance of the cave.

The entrance to the cave was a decent distance by human standards, and it ended in a circular staircase that curved around a giant hole in the ground, concealed by magic. At the bottom of the pit were a few unfortunate creatures that happened to fall in, a flies buzzing over their tragic bodies.

The forest was close though, and if she looked back, she would see the hole marked by a large, spiked rock that jutted up into the sky.

Maddie took her time as she climbed up the stairs and entered into the woods. She breathed in the air deeply and looked around, taking note of everything. She had to assume this was all a test to trick her, that the dragons were still somehow aware of her actions. She had suggested the the clothing, but maybe it was blessed in some way. Maybe they could track her with it.

She found a large tree and walked behind it, it serving as a blind spot if Shuruk could see through the illusion of the massive stone. Once hidden she got undressed, leaving the armor behind.

She did not instantly flee, instead walking slowly to see if anything happened, keeping her eyes out for the plant all the same.

As she moved further away, the plant in question could be spotted here or there. There certainly weren’t very many of them so far, but they were just as the dragon had described. Most of the time she would see them huddled against a tree or hiding under a bush. If she had knowledge of plants, she might recognize that these plants were parasitic, feeding off the plants around them rather than the sun itself.

Because she had removed all her armor, she had nothing to protect her skin as she made her way through dense underbrush (there having been no alternative unless she wanted to trek all the way back and around). She would feel a scratch on her ankle, and instantly the plant’s venom would start to seep into her beings. What Shuruk didn’t tell her was that she ought to avoid the thorns, having assumed she would keep on her leg and arm armor.

The venom caused one to be highly aroused to the point of incapacitating them. If one tried to resist, it would build to the point of excruciating pain until they indulged in what their body now needed.

Seeing the plants Maddie went to pick one up, just to play things safe, but still fully planning on running for it. But right before she reached it she felt the sudden tingle in her ankle.

"Fuck!" she yelped out.

She quickly tried to look at the wound, but it was already gone, healed by her curse. That 'blessing' though couldn't stop the venom. She could feel the sudden dampness in her pussy, her mind starting to race and focus on physical wants, and her knees start to buckle. She landed on the ground, her right hand already quickly moving to her sex. Her thumb starting to rub at her clit. Visions of want took over her mind. She imagined Shuruk's cock violating her body once more. She liked to fantasize about sex, quite often, but for her she preferred thinking about people she didn't know, more just the acts themselves, but there was no mistaking the massive size of Shuruk's shaft. How it filled her fully, how it just would keep raping her without rest.

"Punish me! PUNISH ME! PLEASE!...Fuck me," Maddie pleaded as the wants started to over take her. Her whole body was tingling now and she couldn't run away even if she wanted to.

It almost seemed as though something had been called by her pleas, though that would be odd considering it was a very large plant. The thing moved slowly but surely, almost looking as though it was trying not to be noticed as it inched closer and closer. By the time it reached her, it towered over her. It was a large pitcher plant with gorgeous magenta petals that slowly transitioned to a light green. From the pitcher, several tentacles lolled out, slowly swaying as it moved from the tentacle-like roots underneath it.

A petal extended forward until it landed right in front of her, much like a moat bridge would do. Once down, she could see that inside the plant was a large, bulbous fixture that looked a lot like a cock. It was slick, its mushroom head glistening in an inviting manner, almost daring her to come inside and enjoy herself.

Maddie was taken away by the sexual delights of her current masturbation session, so at first she didn't register the massive plant lumbering towards her, but once she did she quickly pulled her hand away from her wanting sex and started crawling away from the thing defensively. She pulled back a good bit, got up, turned and started to sprint. After all, she was planning to run away anyways and it wasn't like she had a way to properly defend herself. She had left the sword behind with her armor.

After moving just five steps though the pain hit her. Her body wasn't done being indulged yet and the venom was still at play, brining forth harm due to her not pleasing herself. She suddenly dropped back to the ground, escape now becoming impossible.

She turned back to look at the plant, the phallic like part of it that was starting to reveal itself. She could feel her legs spreading out for the thing, her body wanting what it wanted. None the less she screamed.
