Izzy woke up the next morning, having slept hard. The move had been exhausting and the extra excitement had also left her extremely worked up, only to come crashing down when her brother's sour attitude had ruined the fun. But that was alright...she wasn't overly worried about it. After taking a shower and changing, she fixed herself a little breakfast. Zach was already off to work and she began working on her chores before starting to unpack things that were store in all the boxes. Thankfully their new home had a nice sized office that would work as their personal library. Since both of them used laptops – 'offices' tended to float about as well as room for her studies. Having a nice sized room for their extensive collection would be a wonderful choice instead.
With a pair of cut off shorts on and a simple shirt, Izzy tossed her hair back from her face, grabbed a soda and set about creating some order in her home. It was well past 11 when she decided to take a break and began fixing herself a sandwich to eat when the doorbell rang.
Wiping her hands off, she rushed to the door, flinging it open carelessly and smiling. The delivery driver stood before her with a package, looking hot and a little disheveled. “Oh! Hello.” She said.
“Please sign here.” He mumbled and thrust the package into her hands and a clip board followed. She fumbled with it a second, then took it and quickly signed, not bothered in the least by his grumpy attitude.
“Thank you.” She told him cheerfully and glance down at the small package, giving it a small shake. When she looked up, her eyes caught Kat's gaze as he moved across the yard with purpose. She almost forgot to breath as he approached, looking too good for words. Self consciously she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled shyly. “Brave Kat has come for round two.”
