A Night Out (Closed)

"Yeah that sounds great," David said, as he was chasing the rest of his ice cream around his bowl. Once Sarah had finished, David said, "I'll show you my movie collection and you can pick a movie, while I wash up. I won't be long."

"Okay, great." She said getting up. She followed him inside and looked through a few movies before settling on one "this one looks good." She said giving it to him before she sat down on his couch.

David took the DVD from Sarah, and said "I haven't watched this in like forever." David said, as he opened the case and popped the DVD out of the case, and in to the DVD player. David grabbed the remotes, and sat down next to Sarah, and kicked the entertainment system to life.

Sarah regretted not bringing a jacket as she started to get cold. She got comfortable and settled in to watch the movie.

David saw Sarah's body language indicate that she was cold, and said "If you like I could turn on the heat, or if you don't mind, we could snuggle. I'd gladly share my body heat with you." David offered, hoping she would accept the snuggles.

"Sure, we could get comfortable if you want..." She said "it's up to you. What would you like to do?"

David looked at her and smiled, and said "My choice would be to get comfortable." David lift up his arm, and offered himself to Sarah.

David let his drop over Sarah's shoulder and down her side, with the other hand he gently ran his fingers through her hair, and said "I was enjoying tonight, but suddenly it seems to have gotten a whole lot better."

"Well are you going to kiss me?" She asked looking up at him. "Or do you just not want to kiss me?"

David couldn't believe his ears, without hesitation, David lowered his mouth to Sarah's and softly let his lips brush against hers, as his tongue softly traced over the thin slit between Sarah's lips.

Sarah kissed him back but with a bit of reluctance. Even though she had been the one to bring it up she still wasn't sure if kissing him was a good idea. She wasn't sure if she was ready for all of this.

David's arms snaked around Sarah, and held her. He wasn't holding her overly firmly, but firm enough for her to know that he was sincere about the kiss, sincere in saying she deserved the best, and sincere about waiting for her to be ready. When the kiss broke, David said, "Next to you being here, that was the highlight of my night."

Sarah's face flushed red "I guess I should probably get going." She said "I mean the movie is over and dinners over. I should let you get on with your night..." She said.

David felt a pang of despair course through him as these words registered with him. He hadn't planned on Sarah staying the night, but he knew he didn't want her to leave. David thought for a second and said, "I invited you over tonight, and I had nothing else to do. Please stay."

"What am I supposed to do?" She asked "I'm not going to have sex with you so what do you expect to happen?" She sat up "what am I staying for?"

"I'm not asking to stay because I want to have sex with you. I mean I do, but you made it clear that you want to wait, and I respect that. I'm asking you to stay because I'm enjoying your company." David closed the distance between them, wrapped his arms around her, kissed her softly, before saying "Please stay."

"For how long?" She asked "I mean I can't stay the night... It wouldn't be right, I still don't know you. I don't know what to do..."

"I'm not asking you to stay the night, but it's not even 8 o'clock. Stay a while. Get to know me. You said earlier you had more questions for me, wouldn't now be a perfect time to ask them?" David asked, with his arms still circled around Sarah's waist.

"It isn't really anything I can ask..." She said "it's just stuff that I would like to know... But I don't think I'm going to learn it tonight."

"It's nothing, really..." She said "you don't have to worry about it. It's not a big deal, I'm just curious about a few things..."

"Well, why don't we go sit on the balcony, and maybe, I could appease that curiosity. I know we have only just met Sarah, but I really think that we could make a go of this relationship, and I think it will be beautiful." David said.

"Now I'm cheesy... I was trying to be considerate, caring, maybe even romantic. I thought I was doing the right thing." David said feigning to be hurt.
