A Pirates Life for Me. (IC)

He could not help but let a smile come to his face as he looked down at Ianthe, "Oh, why is that?"

As he looked around the one thing that Cale wished was that they were alone, that they could lock the door to the infirmary but he knew that it was not to be. There was only one way that they were going to be alone on this ship and that was in their room. He let out a loud sigh as he looked into her eyes.

"I wish that this day was over so that I could take you to our room, so that we could be alone. I know that we cannot right now but I know that we will soon and when we can be I will come and take you to our room. That I promise you."

He took her into his arms again and kissed her deeply.

"There is something that I have to do right now. If the captain or anyone asks why you are on the ship just tell them that you came here with me. Tell them that you are looking for a job."

And he was off again. For something so large, he sure moved quickly. Larinya was left on the bridge of an unknown ship, amongst an unknown crew, all alone and with nothing but her own words to save her from being thrown overboard.

She stepped back, blending into the background, or so she hoped, until the lionish man's anger had blown off a little more. Then she would introduce herself.

She sure hoped that Cale had a high position in the captian's mind. If he didn't, then she had just put her trust into the wrong man.

"Oh, why is that?"

She blushed at his question. "Well... I like this... us..." She said kissing his neck.

He sighed and it seemed that he was thinking the same thing that she was. Oh... tonight would be the night it seemed. She hoped that it was. She was nervous of course. He was not a small man and there was no doubt that his girth was above standard.

"I wish that this day was over so that I could take you to our room, so that we could be alone. I know that we cannot right now but I know that we will soon and when we can be I will come and take you to our room. That I promise you."

"I will hold you to that..." She whispered. She found herself being kissed deeply again and she submitted willingly to him. "Mmmmmm." she sighed happily. "I can't wait..." She found herself breathless.

Ren started to calm down, "Rescue me? Ah yes, i suppose an observer would have seen my predicament and considered it a bad thing. Why, I thought so at first myself. Very well then, allow me to explain. Pirate King Dolumar had dispatched some lads to take me in to custody, i was taken, only to meet with the Pirate King." he said turning to Lumara. He took her hand and pulled her into the group.

"Allow me to introduce, Pirate King Dolumar."

Cale kissed Ianthe deeply, wishing that he had more time with her. He wanted nothing more than to share all the time that he had left with her but he knew that there would always be things to do. He wiped that thought from his head before he kissed her again then moved away from her slowly. He looked down into her eyes and wanted nothing more than to get lost in them.

"I promise you that we will be together this night just as I promise you that I will come back to you every other night. There is nothing that will stop me from finding my way to you, even if I am a million light years away. You are the one beacon of kindness that is on this ship and I will never let you go."

He slowly moved to the bed and sat down on it, his eyes always on her.

"Do you know what I owe you my dear Ianthe? Everything that I have, everything I am is because of you. If it had not been because of you I would still be in that dark cell, screaming for help that would never come. I owe you my life and all that I can give you is my heart."

Ianthe smiled at the sweet man she had chosen to take care of.

He was soon seated and she stood there and wished to go to him again. She couldn't help herself as she covered the distance and took his head in her hands. Deeply she kissed him again.

"i will happily take your heart... But only if you let me give you mine..." She whispered back to him. Her eyes had softened even more so on him. "I believe that shall make it a fair trade..." She said running her fingers through his hair.

"A heart for a heart..."

"Allow me to introduce, Pirate King Dolumar."

It had been through a pure stroke of luck that Rynver had walked past an air vent that carried that message. She covered her mouth and let out a muffled gasp. She knew she had to get out of here.

They did not have anything good planned for her.

"I need to get out of here... This is no place for a lady like myself..." She sighed as she paced.

Lumara inclined her head and smiled, one arm resting on the hilt of her phase sabre and her other hand nonchalantly positioned on her own ksya. Sharp members of the crew might notice how similar her smile was to Ren's and even sharper ones might notice the near identical design of her ksya to that of her older brother.

"Hail brave buccaneers, i have the honour of being known as Pirate King Dolumar." she said

He let a large smile appear on his face as he looked at Ianthe.

"It is a fair trade. We will each have each other's heart with the promise that we will never break them."

He held her close to himself and closed his eyes, feeling the feathers that covered her body touching his skin. He then reached up and took his bandolier off, letting it drop to the ground. He wanted nothing more than to touch her unhindered by anything. He just hoped that nothing was going to bother them here, that was the last thing that he wanted to happen.

He then looked into her eyes, "I am sorry for acting so strange towards you earlier this day. I had a lot on my mind and I did not mean to take it out on you."

Max sat there silently as the captain introduced this woman known as the Pirate King Dolumar. What an odd title for a female, thought Max. I shall have a hard time understanding these bipeds.

His tongue flicked out to taste the scent of the pirate king, and he found something interesting.

"It must be nice, captain, to have a relative in such a high place as hers," hissed Max, indicating the woman. Her scent was very similar to that of the captain's, and scents that were as similar as their's suggested blood relations.

"How did you know lad?" Ren asked. "Unfortunately, i had no knowledge of her continued existence until i brought before her. You see, this is my baby sister, Lumara Sejisilia Navarone'naya'gall."

Max gave a serptine smile at the captain's reaction. "You both taste similar. Only blood relations have tastes that are as similar as yours," hissed Max. "Now, if you'll excuse me captain, I have prisoners to attend to."

With than Max backed up and slithered off the bridge to tend to the prisoners in the brig, and the one who was locked up in one of the rooms.

One-eye's one eye bored like a beam drill into the back of max. "barariku" he muttered. He turned to Lumara, "Welcome youngling, i had not expected you so soon." he said.

Ren turned and introduced them. "Lumara, this is One-eye, he saved me and became my master, he has taught me much, and is without doubt the mightiest warrior in the 'verse."

One-eye smiled "There is always another Rengakus, even the mightiest will meet his better, an endless cycle, unto eternity."

"It is a fair trade. We will each have each other's heart with the promise that we will never break them."

She nodded in agreement as she was held close to his body. In her mind there was nothing greater than the feel of him. His arms were so strong and she was safe there. She smiled when he took of the bandolier.

"Hmmmm..." She said sounding a little amused. She was watching how calm and peaceful his face looked.

"I am sorry for acting so strange towards you earlier this day. I had a lot on my mind and I did not mean to take it out on you."

"Don't worry about such things, all are in the past..." She said before smiling warmly at him. "Besides we all have our moments..." She whispered letting her hands gently run up and down his strong chest.

Genifur

IC: "Hello... Your lordship." Looking at the fairly normal looking girl I relized I just might be able to make it far in this pirate buisness.

"So I supose with the formalities out of the way it won't be rude of me to ask why the pirate king is onboard the vengence?" I looked at the suprisingly youthful king. "I hope our raids on the PCG and Empire arn't a problem."

"No not at all, I took Ren so we could be reunited, I had thought him dead until recently, so i tracked him down. He thought i had died on Ogdru."

Genifur

IC: I considered pushing the issue but decided not to, after all she had far more support then I, also she knew my employer.

"Well now that everyone is acquainted, My sister and I are going to have a meal in my quarters, Farewell" Ren said as he led Lumara down his cabin.

They ate a fantastic meal and ironed out the details for their joint attack on the convoy that was going to travel through the mists. He then walked with her to her shuttle and saw her off before returning to the vengeance. Once inside he decided to visit Rynver, so off he trotted.

Through out the entire strange encounter on the bridge, Larinya proved invisible enough that no-one actually noticed her. She pursed her lips lightly as she thought about just backing out the door and wandering around the ship. Maybe she could track down the Sarconian, after all, he did have a rather unique scent. Even if he reeked of Kylari.

The captian and the said King of the Pirates left on their own business and Larinya was left with the others on the bridge. She gently cleared her throat, having come to a decision.

"Well! You certainly have a colourful crew!" she grinned, purring slightly and appearing far more arrogant and confident than she felt, though her hand never left her side, "I suppose somebody should tell me where I'm to bunk? You may have a colourful crew, but I don't really see too much efficiency here," she ended without a sneer for once, her words catching in her throat, reminding herself not to insult the crew that were going to be her family for a short while.

Genifur in a shameless plug

IC: After the meeting I stumbled threw undoing the emergency launch proceedurs and apologised to the repair workers. The task wasn't easy by any means. So I returned to my quarters.

I entered in the room and unfastened my belt. Setting the belt and the heavy gear onto the bed I went over to the computer console on the side. I then brought up the web and entered http://www.chyoo.com:81/index.php/main.story.cover/4688 as the adress. I had been stuck on the story for some time now and it was begining to bug me. I tapped a finger lightly against my chin.

One-eye looked to the Ctarl Ctarl and spoke.
"You must understand that this is a momentous event for Ren. To find that his sister is alive when he had thought his entire family dead will help him greatly. Come now my child, and i will find you a room. What did you say your name was?

The cat woman arched an eyebrow towards the man that spoke. He was of the same race as the captian and this 'pirate king' though she was in fact a woman...

"Ah... at last, some service!" she smiled, having no idea just exactly who One Eye was and how important he was concerning the crew. "Okay, lets go then!"

She turned decisively towards the door, secretly glad that she had been accepted as part of the crew after all. Looks like she at least had a warm bed to sleep in for a few more cycles...

She did wait for the grizzled warrior looking beastie to lead the way though.

One-eye smiled his peculiar one-eyed smile and lead Larinya down the hall. "Where do you hail from cat-kin?" he asked pleasently, "The only available single cabin is next to mine, I imagine you would prefer to sleep alone, as all our other raiders are male. A rough bunch they are, mostly Riada and a scattering of other races, good men to have on on your side of a battle." he continued as they approached the door of her cabin. "I am called One-eye, i am second mate and ships couselor. My cabin is right there." he said, pointing to his door. "If i am inside, it will be always unlocked. The galley is on deck three, the lift at the end of the hall will take you to it directly." he explained, leaning on his taigu. "I will be starting to give lessons in the arts of combat, a program intiated by Rengakus to keep morale up and his warriors in shape. It is not mandatory, mostly something to give an old jahad like me something to do." he said with a chuckle.

"Should you require anything else, i will be in my cabin." he said, as he turned toward his own door.

Larinya poked her head into her room, rather surprised that she had a bunker all to herself. "Nice ship..." she murmured to herself, silently a little bit more impressed now that she was getting some first class attention.

She nodded to the grizzly warrior that called himself One Eye and grinned, "Lets hope I don't get to see you too often then, Counciler," she poked out her tongue rather insolently and then disapeared into her own quarters.

Inside, though drab, felt more like a place to call home than that shrivelled up box she'd been sleeping in lately. She delicately sniffed all around, checking out the scents and sounds of the place before jumping onto the bed and curling up for a nice little nap.

If she was needed, she was sure that she'd be informed in some way or form.

As he held Ianthe close to himself Cale could not help but think of other things. He knew that it was wrong of him, that he should always be in the here and now but there were other things that he should take care of. As he looked down into her eyes he hoped that there was nothing that was showing on his face but he knew that he wanted to go and talk to the captain, to see what had happened to him, to see if he was alright.

He also wanted to see what had happened to Larinya. He knew that it was wrong for him to think of another woman while Ianthe was in his arms but he wanted to see if she was alright; if she had been made a part of the crew and whether or not she was safe.

"You know that I will always love you. I know that I will always come back to you, no matter what condition I am in. You gave me the precious gift of life and I know that there is no way that I can repay you for that."
