I leave you all alone for 7 and a half hours sleep and look what happens... you guys delve deeply into starwars again... *sighs*

And what's wrong with that? :)

*sighs* I have to pull you all out of that stuper, that takes about four hours, and then I have to keep you all entertained... it's a tough job my friend...

I thought 1 eye was based on me. I even removed an eye take make it more obvious.

How about Odesus in the Odesy. Some how one eye reminds me of Odesus stoping his son from violence.

Odysseus from the Odyssey lad. I suppose you could make that connection, wasnt really what i had in mind but you could.

What's it about?

Oh, and for Pirates, are you giving Max a chance to get involved?

if he does they'll probably kill him. They arent supposed to harm Ren, but Dolumar said nothing about Max. Im allowing you a chance to post something about having followed Ren or something.

The Wyndirin swordsmen fell to the ground, his life spilling out into the churning mud. Jayzin quickly blocked a spear thrust, the boss of his shield turning the polearm away as he hacked into the shaft. The wyndirin threw the now useless wood away and reached for a shortsword. Jayzin dispatched him with a slash to the throat. "Arrows!" came a voice from the right. He raised his shield in good time, listening to the patter of arrows striking its steel skin.

thank you love. its all ive got so far. im writing it by hand, so i take more time planning then otherwise. its only one paragraph but already the page is all kinds of marked up.

Hmm. What to do, what to do...

Well, of course Dolumar said nothing about Max because it's highly unlikely that he even knows of Max's existence.

I'm considering different options for Max right now. Among them:
  • Max getting involved and fighting side by side with the captain;
  • Max getting involved by discreetly dragging a couple goons into the shadows and knocking them out;
  • Max getting involved and somehow being taken along with the captain;
  • Max continues to follow the captain after he is taken and stowing away on the ship when they leave;
  • or finally, Max just sits in the shadows and watches, with the possibility the captain seeing his eyes and knowing he's there.
Well, those are the options. I can't decide.

A decent start, Ren. Once you've got it all figured out, let me know, and I can look it over for editing.

Jayzin Taranis is the main character. he's the leader of a small mercenary band that i have yet to name. Currently they're in the employ of the Elven Nation of Karynil who are at war with Wyndir. Wyndir is allied with the Orcs of Gatruk, while Karynil is allied with the Dornae (beastmen) of Duronel. The dwarves of Barzek are in a kind of cold war with the minotaur of Daggoroth, they're mostly fighting small skirmishs and raids as neither side is prepared to go to a state of total war.

all are doable, but i do strongly advise against getting right in the thick of it with ren. Cause then if i dont have them kill you it wouldnt really fit with their piratical nature. especially with basilisk hide being so valuable

Very interesting...

thank you love. I hope angelus and wolfy get back soon, I miss them. and its part of the reason im going so slow on Pirates and whatnot.

I also would rather enjoy getting back into IV, Michael has a score to settle with a nasty monster that took his woman.

You have a point there, in that Basilisk hide is indeed valuable, especially Max's, because his scales are like medium-level armor.

So, getting in a fighting side by side with the captain is out, and possibly also getting hauled off with the captain (alive) as well. That leaves 1) dragging off a couple of goons discreetly into the shadows and knocking them out 2) following after the captain is captured and stowing away on the ship or 3) Max just sitting in the shadows and watching, with the possibility that the captain might see his eyes watching for the shadows.

There's no knowing when Wolfsister will be back because she's recovering from some illness. And as for Angelus, he's caring for Wolfsister.

And yes, I too, would like to get back into the IV. I'm holding back on Elmhand's post to give Wolfsister a chance to recover and get back up to speed without having to worry about one extra post.
