A Quiet Room in a Noisy World

As an introvert at heart, I know how overwhelming the world can be. If you buy into personality tests, the ISTJ in me also knows that despite the overwhelm, we often forget to take care of ourselves and our needs.

So here is a quiet room in a noisy world – to fill with all the peaceful, calming, introspective, creative.... pieces of joy that we need to recharge, reflect, and relax.

I did that today. Played nine holes of golf on a lovely Fall afternoon, almost no one else on the course. Green grass, blue sky, light breeze. Quiet. Peaceful, even tranquil. My soul was softened considerably. Hated to leave. Will go back soon now that the weather has gotten past the Texas summer heat.
