Edit: The band I played with for so long up around Tahoe/Carson City did a version of this song based on someone's recording - but it wasn't a folk version. I can't remember who did it, but I really liked it. And I really don't enjoy the folk music stuff. I thought maybe it was Johnny's version, but it wasn't based on this. And those guys did everything really close to whichever version they were covering. So it wasn't their unique version. Weird!
