During my first year in the Navy I went home on leave and took my mother to see the new 'must see' movie "An Officer And A Gentleman." It had a Navy theme to it so I thought it was a good choice. It also had a fair amount of sex scenes and nudity, which I wasn't aware of. My mother was the saintliest woman I've ever known, and sitting through those sex scenes with her was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. I felt terrible!
