I've been thinking about this actually. Quite seriously- I've always thought I was in the fat and ugly range, since being a child. I looked back over some pics I found of me when I was around 14/15 and I couldn't believe what I saw, a tall, curvy, well proportioned girl with pretty eyes and a sweet smile. Dammnit,if only I'd known I had all that back then...

Anyhow, now, now I think I can reach pretty. Pretty I can do, I think. Beautiful? Nah. Thats in the eye of the beholder though, but I see beautiful as 9+. I think, if we have to quantify it I'd put myself at about a 6, going up to a 7 if I feel particularly good and down to close to zero if I'm having a bad day.

As (I think) Mckenna said, I am attactive to some people and not to others. I've been flirted with twice in the past week so yes, some find me attractive. It's something you'll have to ask someone else. You cannot make yourself attractive to others, they will either be attracted or not. You can help yourself mind,I'm not saying you can't- but at the end of the dayit's up to other people how attractive you are.

And just for the record -Brad Pitt leaves me cold. *shudder*

I'm in better shape than I was last summer at this time, both better looking (slightly thinner, much stronger) and better health-wise. I still have the same goatee, the same bad shoulders, the same bad knees, the same bad elbow and wrist. I have managed to wreck my good ankle (running while drunk is bad, M'kay...).

Right now I weigh in at 245 pounds. I'd like to lose about 15 of it and I'd be damn happy, but if I don't, it's not that big of a deal. I've got a woman who loves me to death, a decent job, and I'm happy where I'm at right now....not all that concerned about my looks or health at the moment.

Though, sucking in all the steel dust from grinding on metal all night long should have me concerned. I think I'll worry about it when I laugh at the doctor for telling me in another 40 years that I have cancer.

I can agree to all of this. Better outter body than last year, still same terrible undercarriage. Oh, no goatee though. I can't grow one. And running is bad period, M'kay.

I think an easier question may be what we dislike or find unattractive about ourselves, but then don't some of us do that on a daily basis?

I do and can list a ton of things right now. But, that's not the point of this thread and I hate to spread negatives when it's better to focus on the positives.

At the risk out sounding completely conceited, lol, I think I have a pretty face.
My body though... could use a little work.
I'm over-weight, but I'm evenly proportioned, thank god.
People often guess I weigh much less than I do, and then are stunned when I tell them the real number.
I'm not a 10, but all in all, I'm happy with myself.

Of course it depends on who is looking at me.
One person might think that I'm curvy and beautiful, another might think I'm a fat bitch.

I look exactly the same as I did a year ago. And the year before that. Whether it is attractive or not is for other people to decide. I've never felt attractive, but I've always gotten a lot of attention. Typically, though, any woman who likes the way I look also thinks English Bulldogs are cute. I think that says a lot.

Because my self confidence has grown quite a bit, yes, I'd say I'm up there with the nines. Depending on what I wear and how I do my hair, if I shave everything, and keep good posture, then I have a ten day.

I'm hot, I'm sexy, and I finally believe it.

ETA: I've lost quite a bit of weight since last year. I used to wear a size 14 or 16 in pants, and now I'm down to a 9/10 in just one year. Depending on the brand of jeans, I've been known to wear an 8. Express keeps me in 10s, and zana-di's keep me in 9s.

I've learned to let myself go a lot more. If other people don't like me or have a problem with how I look, they can kiss my ass.

That seems to be the eyes-wide-open mark....and yeah, as long as you're comfortable with who you are and what you do, and your partner is the same, then what the hell!

I did find out that doing 25 push ups every time I complete a story is a hell of a way to tone some of that unworked muscle back up. It's not a huge number, but when, on a good day, I can crack out/finish 2 or 3 stories....

I feel about a 7...

My shape hasn't changed much...lost a lil hip, lost a lil tit, lost a lil ass...all in all I just got a tad bit smaller. My face is ok...not the most beautiful face but attractive nonetheless. Honestly, I really don't pay attention to how I look...it's more about how I feel...and inside, I feel just about perfect.

I am probably in the best shape of my life. There were times I was thinner, but not in shape. I am learning that what you weigh or how you look really doesn't matter a long as you feel good about yourself. Which is very, very hard to do, especially in this day and age when every channel you turn to or every magazine you open have beautiful people staring at you.

I try very hard not to rate myself. I see myself in my mirror every day ~ I am my worst critic.

Lookswise I haven't changed much since last year. Still need to lose some weight but don't have the discipline to do it. LOL

Otherwise I guess I'm average looking. Hair is longer than a year ago. Skin darker due to a tan. Eyes maybe a bit sadder.

I have no clue if I still attract men as I haven't been hit on in ages. My looks two years back apparently works though as a work mate of my friend saw our graduation video recently and asked if I was single.

I'd say I'm average looking, but with a shower, blow dry, make up and nice clothes on I'm cute.
