It’s settled law until it isn’t. First off is was never codified law it was a ruling. Second; Stare Decisis is not a fail safe to continue on with inappropriate rulings. Courts deferring to precedent just because its precedent does not obligate SCOTUS to follow Stare Decisis or precedence if a ruling is flawed. A nominated judge being questioned by a senator answer’s its settled law is a retort simply parroting the general consensus and is not an obligatory response. Remember the court never banned abortion, it put the issue back to the states where it was previous to Justice Blackmun’s ruling.

The other option is DON"T HAVE SEX, pregnancy cannot occur without sex, artificial insemination not included here. Frankly I think that's the best option we have too many liberals already.

I am referring to the life support for a fetus in a vegetative state, which is, I believe what Bright alluded to here. These babies literally have no prospect of survival and their parents, if they are born, have to watch them slowly expire in incredible anguish.

2) Not once, that I can recall, did any President try to have abortion rights codified into law.

3) The Supreme Court's ruling occurred during the Biden administration.

4) If your state bans abortion then you have a problem in your state.
