No he's not isolating the US from the rest of the world. It's more like ensuring the nation can govern itself, not to be managed by an outside group. The USA doesn't need some group like the UN or NATO, not to mention some EU-style group.

However the decision may be made by the rest of the world if Trump keeps on his current track of pissing off all his traditional allies. I can see the UN moving it's HQ to Brussels along with NATO and telling the states to fuck off and be independent.

There was a survey result issued today in my country that gave a clear indication that the majority here think we should be moving to align with China and move away from our traditional alignment with the States.

No not quite. In the time since then there have been groups formed that have increased their power over nations, and they are creeping up on bigger nations and exerting forces they didn't have before. Most power-hungry people and groups aren't satisfied with a little slice of power, they usually want everything. The UN and NATO are leaning that way. Look how pissed the EU was about Brexit, plus the Paris thing. It's not about pollution or trade agreements, its about power.

I don't live in NZ, so my opinion doesn't matter much. However, surveys are almost always skewed to achieve an intended result, so I don't have much faith in them. Also, many people refuse to answer pollsters, especially when their opinion differs from the overly-vocal minority and major news outlets, so the results don't even have a good base from which to start.

And really? The majority of NZ people would gladly throw away what rights they have left to follow a horribly invasive communist regime instead of what you have now? In many ways, NZ folks have less freedoms than Americans, and you will volunteer to have less? Shocking.

I regard most of what you say as conspiracy nonsense and unworthy of validation by responding but this statement above got my interest.

I would be very interested in knowing in at least a couple of ways where NZ folk have less freedoms than Yanks?
