Anyway, since no-one's posted to my post, I'll simply delete it and beg QM forgiveness for leaving a blank post in her thread.

For your information Jedi (and I'm so sorry I wasn't around to help you today) yes, the crone could see you. If I told you how, I would have revealed the character - the reason I didn't tell you was to give you a hint as to what she was capable of without Metagaming.

And I drew my own map so that people would see how I saw it. Sorry for the confusion. I took the extreme bend to mean that Kalika and Qyron couldn't see each other through the trees.

I shall wait for later to join the thread.

Oh and Cats, I'm sorry to see you go and I hope you feel better soon.

I apologize, Wolfsister, if we've offended you by ignoring the post you worked so hard on. Qyron, however, had indicated that he was going to react to the old crone, so...yeah.

If your character can truly see the elf, and be able to tell he was an elf even with the cloak hiding his elven ears (pretty much the only thing that would show that he was an elf), then she indeed has supernatural vision. Oh well.

I've decided her nature will be very cautious, so I'm going to keep her in the fringes of the group for a few more posts.

Don't worry, she'll always be around and certainly if you need her.

Its alright Jedi. I didn't really work that hard on it, it was, like, a ten minute post. So tis all good. When I read of everybody's confusion, I just thought it would be better if I vanished. So I did I can pick a better place to come in anyway and you guys are busy with your own storyline.

Sorry if you wrote up a post with me in it Qyron, but I know that you're a good enough writer that you can re-write things with me not in it.

Also -- I know you have a character that is good with stealth Jedi, but don't discount other people's character's okay? Its not just you who has 'talents'. That is all I'm going to say.

Other than that, I really like your character. Definitely different from the 'I can't come up with a character stage' i seem to recall you having with when you first came on Its great that you've grown in such a short time. Keep it up!

Hm, it would be close in a straight up hunt, but the elf has one or two tricks up his sleeve, like the whistle, which would give him a definitive edge over Cormac.

Yes, Cormac may be tougher than any elf, but how do you think The Hunter has been able to kill so many Talarines, which are tougher than he is. The divine blessings, however, may pose a challenge. We shall see if they ever go head to head.

It truly is a shame, has I had thought about some things to use on my next post. And I would still like to help you get in the plot, but I would like to discuss this privately.

I recognize a seasoned RPlayer when I see one and I would like to discuss a thing or two about your post and a possible entry for your character. Since the sorceress and the elf are busy together, I can take the opportunity to get my guy out of the way for a couple of moments. PM, me please, wolfsister.

In a face-off, I would put my money on Cormac. The elf rely to much on stealth to defend and attack.

Even if Cormac is slower, his bulk gives him strength and power the elf lacks. A well given blow would be enough to wind or even cripple the elf.

Even with the whistle, the advantage is slim. A well trained warrior would be affected but would be skilled enough to find a way around it. Covering the ears is a simple way and the first one popping to my mind. High frequency sounds are easily blocked. Low frequency sounds don't have enough energy to cause confusion.

That's why a elephant calling in sub-sonic frequencies can make a human being feel unnerved but only a high pitch sound, like a bird chirping, can actually make some damage and cause confusion. Physics...

Well, with wolsister "retreat" I got my post all fumbled, so I will have to re-write the entire thing again. And since I wrote it a little in the dark, as I didn't had the previous posts to read and lay the ground for my work now that I'm reading it again, it would had sound a little... bad.

I will rewrite the thing tonight and post tomorrow morning.
And can the elf and karesh get a room? Please...
