Alberta cleared for separation referendum.

That Alberta Independence has significant legs and is possible?

That is a valid argument and the voting proves it.
The voter results clearly show Albertans aren't ready for binding independence referendum yet.
The voting results results undeniably prove my argument.

You are really chasing your own tail on this one aren't you...

Which one is it?

The voting proves independence has significant legs

Or the voting undeniably proves Albertans are not ready for it.

Is it maybe a combination of the two? Albertans are undeniably not ready for a referendum on independence, but if one was held then independence itself would definitely be on the cards.

(By the way, your workmates were definitely taking the piss out of you.
Just a heads up for the future).

There was no separation or independence question on the ballots.

Questuon 10 merely asked if the government should start the legal process for a binding referendum questuon about Alberta leaving Canada.
Are you saying the OP 🤡 didn't even have his crap straight before creating this thread?
It might as well have been the real thing. I see no path forward with those sort of numbers.
🤡😂

Those are not mutually exclusive.
Albertans are undeniably not ready for a referendum on independence, but if one was held then independence itself would definitely be on the cards.
Exactly.

What are you talking about? Who are my 'workmates'?

Those are not mutually exclusive.

Exactly.

What are you talking about? Who are my 'workmates'?
So what you are saying the voting proves there is no appetite for a referendum but if there was one it also proves your side may very well win it.
Gotcha...

Workmates...people you work with.
Clue is kinda in the name.

After this latest thread-FAIL, please officially change your Lit username to “Shit4brains”.

We. Told. Them. So.

So what you are saying the voting proves there is no appetite for a referendum
It proves Albertans voted against a referendum right now.
but if there was one it also proves your side may very well win it.
As I said, it is possible. The other 9 questions are very telling and encouraging.
Workmates...people you work with.
Clue is kinda in the name.
I'm self employed and don't need workers.

So again, what are you talking about?

you have no workmates (people you work with)
Correct. As I said, I'm self employed and no one else is in my employ. All my jobs I do myself.

So when I refer to 'coworkers', what I mean is other contractors, under different companies and employers, I interact with on semi regular basis.

On the other hand those other 9 questions are a sharp stick in Ottawa's eye.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah...
Those 'other 9' are what everyone is talking about on here.

(Honestly, save your energy and just wait till WhiteGuide finds some loon website which claims there is a tonne of evidence of voter fraud and pile in on that).

The little monkey is acting up for attention. Have some bananas.

Very true. The federalists are very vocal and pissed off about those questions, and being quite nasty about it. As usual.

Meanwhile, the pro Alberta Independence side is quite chipper and positive about where we're at.

Sure, we would have preferred a much more smashing victory, who wouldn't. But change of this magnitude doesn't happen overnight.

But we absolutely far exceeded what all the naysayers kept claiming we could never do. 😎

I'm sure they'll let you know when you are allowed to speak for them. 😄
I doubt they wanted me to point it out, but maybe they did, you know your co-interactors-on-a-semi-regular-basis better than I do.

It was just a friendly 'heads up', so if any of them tells you to go to stores to get them a left handed hammer in future just have a think about it first is all I am saying

Exactly what form of US interference are you referring to?

from wiki

On October 3, 2026, a Globe and Mail investigation found that political operatives tied to the American Republican Party were assisting the campaign for Alberta to secede. The investigation also found that when Alberta separatist leaders went to Washington, D.C., to meet with representatives of the United States Department of State, they were offered access to fresh water and royalties on crude oil.[15] A few days later, Mitch Sylvestre, chief executive officer of the Alberta Prosperity Project, told the Mail that the office of Foreign Influence Transparency Commissioner Anton Boegman contacted him and his group.[16] The premier of British Columbia, David Eby, called the invitation of foreign interference by the separatist movement "treason" and other Canadian lawmakers called for updating Canadian laws on treason and foreign election interference.[17][18]

Later that month, Researchers from the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Conflict at the University of Regina found out that 80 per cent of suspected foreign influence activity had been linked to Russian sources and 20 per cent has been linked to US sources initially.[19] However, researchers noticed that the American share rose to 24 per cent, while the Russian sources dropped to 76 per cent.[19] The report points out that Russian content is covert and can be traced to a pro-Kremlin content farm known as Pravda Network. Meanwhile, US activity is more overt, with prominent American influencers, podcasts and websites promoting Alberta separation on a variety of platforms including YouTube, Reddit, and Rumble.[19] Dr. Brian McQuinn, co-director of the centre, said the narratives targeting Alberta from Russian and American-linked sources have started to mirror each other as the referendum neared.
