Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is starting to draw some big crowds...

lol, it only took one post and you're already resorting to chicken shit posting by not using the quote feature. And you claim you're a man......*chuckles*
Only one post to strike a nerve I see. Keep trying Randy. You haven’t gotten any better at this in my absence.

That must be every Democrat in Idaho. :)
Vermont was one of the reddest states in the country when Bernie first started running for office there. What changed? He stood for something and he spent years listening to the people about their concerns.
Please, please, please run this idiot! I’m begging you! 🤣
That's what the Democrats said about Reagan and the Republicans said about Clinton. Careful what you wish for.

The generations, I think.
It wasn't just that. As late as 1988, VT went Republican for president, but Sanders ran a strong campaign for Congress at the same time. If there hadn't been a Democratic candidate splitting the left-of-center vote, he likely would have won. (Two years later, he did.)

Remember also why the Dems did so poorly in that year's presidential election: they ran away from the progressive banner rather than embracing it, like Sanders did.

Was it a progressive banner or a populist banner???

🤔

Both. If I recall correctly, his first big break came when the police in Burlington went on strike in 1981. He ran for mayor and attracted their support, and won by ten votes.

I do remember dims saying that about Reagan. Nobody ever said that about Slick Willie though. We had that election in the bag till a douche named Perot, siphoned off voters. Before you say I have sour grapes, the roles were reversed for Gore in ‘00…a perpetual thorn in the dems side named Nader.

Sandi the bartender strikes no fear in anyone’s heart. She’s dumber than a box of rocks. A trash compactor threw her for a loop. She’s supposed to have a degree in economics…has anyone asked her a serious question about that? She can probably tell you how to mix a Gin&Tonic though…although I fear she’d fuck that up….

Oh yes they did. I remember it quite well (and truth be told, I was worried at first that they were right).

Nope. Clinton had pulled even with Bush in the polls the week Perot dropped out. The economy was bad, and Bush's base was still pissed off about "Read my lips". Study after study after study has shown Perot's supporters were about evenly split between Bush, Clinton, and no vote at all for their second choice.

The fact that you feel the need to attack her so much is a pretty clear sign that oh yes, you are indeed scared of her, or at least of what she represents.
