Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is starting to draw some big crowds...

Maybe I don't know her well enough to have an opinion. Last I knew she was a bartender from Brooklyn. Has she demonstrated leadership?

But if Trump has proven anything it's that any brain-dead idiot with a pulse can be President.
You're woefully uninformed.

These rallies are only the beginning. The people are sick of the plutocracy always getting its way.

AOC is a negative campaign manager's dream. :)
It would be so easy to get all the racists, KKK, 'Christian' White Supremacists, misogynists riled up. Just like with Kamala Harris.

Hell, they'll even be able to mispronounce her name.

Wtf are you ranting about? She has more baggage than Hillary. :)

AOC would be a presidential candidate the Bernie Bros could get behind. And she could kick Vance's ass easy. (I do not allow for the possibility of a Trump third-term run, but she could beat him too.)
She won’t be enough to win, we need someone stronger.

Perhaps. But she riles up the racist, women-hating Deplorables something fierce. This thread is proof.

If that's her role while someone else steps up, sweet. 😎

Zohran Mamdani’s shock win over Andrew Cuomo fuels rumors of AOC 2028 presidential run: ‘Broadens her horizons’

Speculation is swirling about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s plans for 2028 after she successfully endorsed dark-horse socialist Zohran Mamdani in the heated New York City Democratic mayoral primary.

Many observers believe the lefty “Squad” member will try to move up from her House seat — whether to the Senate or even the White House — in the aftermath of Mamdani’s stunning upset over ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Tuesday night.

Regardless of whether she runs for president or not, the election results yesterday coupled with her popularity among a large portion of the Democratic base indicate the expanding voice of the far left wing of the party, much to the chagrin of more moderate Democrats.
