Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is starting to draw some big crowds...

Regardless of whether she runs for president or not...

...you're still a racist. True.

BabyBoomer50s calling others "racist":

Keep defending your jew-hating pals you racist POS.

Like many progressive Democrats, she is an unhinged racist.

BabyBoomer50s being racist:

[Elizabeth Holms riots] Geez, the case hasn’t even gone to the jury and the rioters in CA are already looting the high end fashion stores. If the verdict goes the wrong way the streets of Walnut Creek, San Francisco, and LA could be filled with blondes in black turtlenecks. Not even going to guess how this would all go down if she were black.

Zohran Mamdani’s shock win over Andrew Cuomo fuels rumors of AOC 2028 presidential run: ‘Broadens her horizons’

Speculation is swirling about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s plans for 2028 after she successfully endorsed dark-horse socialist Zohran Mamdani in the heated New York City Democratic mayoral primary.

Many observers believe the lefty “Squad” member will try to move up from her House seat — whether to the Senate or even the White House — in the aftermath of Mamdani’s stunning upset over ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Tuesday night.

I think it would be a bad move for her to run in the Presidential Campaign,America IMHO is not ready for a woman in the White House and probably never will, she is also too far left. What the US needs is someone to heal the rift that Herr Drumpf has created and that should be a centrist.

Has to be Lisa Simpson.

Still clinging to the My Fair Lady strategy, really? That has already served us so very well in the past...

Not clinging,just an honest opinion.
Most electors cast their vote along party lines,so you have to go after the floaters.I could be wrong but will need convincing.

How's this for convincing? Every Democratic nominee since Jimmy Carter has been a centrist, and that hasn't made the slightest difference against the perpetual accusations from the right that they were all a bunch of wild-eyed radicals. It also hasn't won over the mushy middle, which is really home to few if any voters. Lots of people think they're centrists, but if you listen to their opinions, usually they're either quite conservative but just don't want to get lumped in with the likes of Trump, or they're liberal but they shy away from that label because the right has done such a good job of vilifying it. With the Republicans marching ever further to the right, it makes less sense every day to bother looking for common ground with them.

And if America weren't ready for a woman president, Hillary Clinton wouldn't have won the popular vote in 2016.

America is ready for a woman president. Just not the very unlikable Hillary.

Democrats had long shifted to a far left party by ‘16, becoming the party of coastal elites and had turned their back on their base. St Rodham just parroted those views propped on the shoulder of the DNC machine. Never actually having any ideas of her own. She went against the time tested strategy of running to the left in the primaries but running to the center in the national…you know, like her husband did, and won, twice. She reversed that maxim.

Her hiding all summer leading up to the election didn’t help her either. You know, cause it was in the bag baby. ALL the polls told her so…and she believed them!

Oh, and that popular vote thing you keep hanging your hat on? Yeah, that literally came out of five counties split between NY & CA. A glaring example of why the Electoral College is so important.

IMG_2085.jpegHillary…if only she smiled at Bill like she smiled at despots around the globe…

Lest we forget, people like you made the same claims about her husband (who did NOT "run to the left in the primaries" - he was one of the more conservative candidates in the '92 primaries).
And it doesn't matter where the popular vote margins came from, the point is that she won the popular vote. A glaring example of why the electoral college is profoundly undemocratic.

President Ocasio-Cortez isn’t as far of a reach as it once was

Indeed, not only did her vote mark a clear break with other members of the progressive “Squad,” who made up five of the six objections.

More importantly, it positioned Ocasio-Cortez closer to the Democratic mainstream at a time when her name has been brought up as a candidate for the Senate, and potentially even President.

Further, this vote positions the congresswoman well vis-à-vis Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who trails Ocasio-Cortez by 19-points (55 percent to 36 percent) in a poll reported by Politico.

Santa Claus always draws big crowds. That is why Bernie gets crowds of freeloaders and benefits-grubbers. They believe their fairy tales of cheap college and free healthcare. This is ridiculous.
AOC's district is a war zone with open air prostitution and drug markets and little if any Federal investment. Bernie represents the whitest, most liberal state in the country. VT has no crime problem and there is not much corruption. There biggest problem is finding POCs to run their pot dispensaries (they are too white, according to the government).
She will run in 2028 and put up a good show but most likely it will be McGovern in 1972.
