The views on xafboy's ignorant post are unanimous in their support for Mae and the condemnation of a naive, over-excited and unthinking little prick of an ex- serviceman, who in my opinion is better out of the AF.

Please, please though Mae, to bring some cheer back to the festive season, post us all a reminder of those sparkling eyes which show in your avtar the true character of a lovely person.

As an ex- RAF officer, artist and admirer of feminine beauty in all forms I am truly saddened by these events and wish Mae every success in all her ventures both militaryl and private. She has demonstrated another side to her character in the way she has handle this predicament: strength of character and professionalism.

I enjoyed reading what you had to say about each thread, and each individual pic. You were a joy to look at and to get to know through your posts. I am truly sorry that someone, willfully or not, has taken that away from you. I have only one last request, and I am sure that others who have gotten to know you will agree....Please, post a picture with a smile...I can't stand to think that the last I will see of you is the pain that is so apparent in that pic. Well here's some insight

Ok, now the short hair makes sence, I thought Mae kept it short to bring out her beautiful eyes... but military regulation, damn that through me for a loop.

That's the problem with diversity..it always backfires. Here we have an educated Second Lt..such as Mae. She spends a great deal of time studying/reading books (with out pictures, and big words) using both the left and right side of her brain..she stumbles upon her wonderful artistic gift of photography..giving all of us her soul.

Then you have the other side...where we meet "xafboy"..more than likely a private 1st class...grew up somewhere in alabama/ mississippi...and after many years of finger-bangin his younger sister he runs off and joins the United States Air Force (since he can buy beer at 18 years of age) The Air Force then goes through the pain-staking task of teaching our young "xafboy" the 101 uses of a mop..and after much time of swabin' the decks of the U.S.S. Saratoga (it's an aircraft carrier..i know sailors "swab" decks, but just follow mw on this one) he becomes disillusioned and angry at his career choice, and remember's the good 'ol' days with sis (now preagant at age 14) the family trips to walmart, and the sweet smell of mom's famous muskrat suprise. Finally, after some time, he moves up to the rank of head janitor on the same base as are beloved Mae. All that anger still stored up inside of him just waiting to be released. Well that day comes to soon, while sweeping up the mess hall on evening he runs in to Mae, causing her to spill her tray of wholesome military delights all over the area he has just swept. He burst into a ragefull frenzy, consequently being dishonnorably discharged from active duty. Which brings us to the present...where "xafboy" has been tracking Mae's every move just waiting to exact his revenge.....

I can fully understand your decision, though I will miss your posts so much.

Not only are you beautiful, you are witty, artistic, thoughtful, and very, very much an all round talented lady.

I wish that I could get hold of the senseless moron(s) that have caused you to take this decision.

Some people seem to only take pleasure in screwing up other peoples fun.

You will be sadly missed by all the genuine people on this board.

Your parting picture truely shows your art and how good you are at it. I actually stared at that picture for a good five minutes. To say it had a huge affect on me would be an understatement. I could actually feel your hurt and frustration. My chest hurt. Your contributions to this forum will be greatly missed. It is truely tragic.

I am a newbie and my first post was a reply to one of your threads.Going back a few days later I was surprised that you had replied to my post and also asked about my name and Orson Scott Card.I got to experience on my first posting one of the things that has made you so loved here.You brought your whole being here to share with your words and pictures.You gave a gift to all who have followed your threads.
I look at your last picture and feel a stabbing pain in my chest.The skill and artistry you have used in the past to share you love and drlight with life has allowed us to share your pain as well.My heart goes out to you and I wish I could be there to hold and hug and comfort you.
