Americans favor Sanders over Trump

Actually, it is the social democracies nowadays who still tend to practice some form of corporatism,

All socialist do to some extent, it's just a matter of who's the primary shot callers.

The democracy, bureaucrats, corporations, the military, the xyz party.

At the end of the day it's all the same shit....a bunch of elites bickering about who's turn it is to hold the people down and who's turn it is to fuck them up the ass.

Yes eventually Scandinavia too. Drop 3 million more fugees in their lap and let that socialist wonder machine do it's magic. :D

and it gets them a great deal worth having.

Good for them, only thing it's gotten us is totally fucked and a super rich elite class.

Bernie is a rich guy. If he is such a great socialist, why doesn't he redistribute his wealth?

Wasn't Bernie's taxrate only 13.5%? I wonder if he wrote a separate check for the other 76.5%? That would have put him at the 90% tax bracket that mega-socialists like Bernie are fond of.

So if he made a quarter of a million, he'd have no problem living on 25 grand after taxes...right?

No way. Three homes require upkeep and the Lords of government have earned their Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous!

:mad: HOW DARE YOU! :mad:

They're not my opinion, they're backed up by statistics. See how many social democracies rank as high or higher than the U.S. on:

The Democracy Index.

The Human Development Index.

The Where-to-Be Born Index.

The World Happiness Report.

The Human Poverty Index.

And even:

The Index of Economic Freedom.

The incapability of an atheist to see the larger global picture never ceases to amaze me.

The human brain was made for a variety of functions, not just a limited number of them; and we all have it.

Bernie Sanders has the intellectual curiosity usually found in a cabbage. He seeks social justice but honeymooned in Moscow, home to the bloodthirsty savages who gave you social justice in mass graves and starvation.
The man is an evil cunt.
Yeah, we need more politicians who aren't interested in traveling to other countries and actually meeting the citizens.
That way they can have conversations like this
O’Reilly interjected, “Putin’s a killer.” And a vexed Trump replied, “There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country is so innocent?”
and
TScarborough asked about Trump’s bromance with Putin and Trump responded, "When people call you brilliant, it's always good. Especially when the person heads up Russia." [[Trump doesn't even know Putin was calling him a peacock :rolleyes: ]
Putin “kills journalists, political opponents, and invades countries," objected Scarborough. "Obviously that would be a concern, would it not?"

“He's running his country, and at least he's a leader, you know, unlike what we have in this country,” Trump said, referring to then-President Obama.

"But, again, he kills journalists that don't agree with him," protested Scarborough.

“Well, I think our country does plenty of killing also, Joe,” Trump said.

So I don't know what you're bitching about, your man in the White House says the US is little better than Russia.

It's a good possibility Sanders could have won the presidency if Hillary and the DNC had not screwed him.

Like I said, that' what corporatism will get you. :)

Once again, corporatism does not mean "government dominated by the interests of large commercial enterprises." The latter -- which we do have, to some extent -- might be called "corporationism". Corporationism is inimical to social democracy, but corporatism fits well with it.

I never said it did.

You're just ascribing bullshit that you're making up in your own head. :)

The latter -- which we do have, to some extent -- might be called "corporationism".

Which is just a subcategory of corporatism at best.

It's truly a difference without distinction, it's still just another special interest group paying a senate committee to get favor from the gubbmint.

And like usual it is almost always at the expense of the people either legally (regulations) or economically (Taxation).

Corporationism is inimical to social democracy, but corporatism fits well with it.

And when it's the primary governing force it get's the elites rich and the common man fucked up the ass.

That's what socialism does, every fucking time.

Yea yea, Scandinavia, they are one fuck up....one bubble or one asshole leader away from clubbing kittens in the street like Venezuela. That's what happens when everyone rides on the coat tails of consolidated power/wealth and that power/wealth shits the bed.

At any given moment the 1st world is only about 6 meals away from the 3rd. ;)

You don't have a problem with Mr. Social Justice Warrior owning three homes and, worst of all, not opening them up to those beneath him and (drum roll) only paying 13 percent of his income in taxes.
What a giant asshole of a hypocrite.

I own more than 3 homes, why would having 3 homes preclude you from doing what's right for this country?

You sound like a mouthbreather.

Are you a mouthbreather?

Because it makes you rich!! A 1%'er!!

You should give all of it away to the poor and move into a 30,000 dollar single wide or studio apartment and give the rest of your wealth to those less fortunate.

That's what Sanders preaches.

But not what Sanders lives.....

My man? Sorry, the only reason I supported Trump is because your woman is an absolute shitbag.

The point being made is that Bernie ascribes to the philosophy that government is supposed to help the poor achieve similar standards as the wealthy by forcing the wealthy to pay for it through higher taxes.

It can be explained as: The Robin Hood syndrome - austerity for the rich benefits the poor.

Yet, for some reason BERNIE owns 3 houses and pays LESS TAXES than the average poor person. Which means he doesn't live to the standard he espouses.

Which can be explained as: Flaming hypocrisy.

What Sanders says and what he does are two very different things. If he's so passionate about it, why doesn't he practice what he preaches? Not doing so makes him a full-fledged total asshat scum-sucking hypocrite.
Don't know why you felt like you had to make it personal.

A socialist living in society as it is now has as much right as anyone to be greedy; that needn't interfere with working to change society.

It works, too.

It works, too.

Never has. Never will.

USSR = fail.
Italy = fail.
France = fail.
Venezuela = fail.

You're only counter is that the northern European countries you use as evidentiary proof of success haven't failed YET.

History shows that EVERY TIME socialism is tried, it FAILS. Your absurd and over-vocal protestations to the contrary do not change facts.

France and Italy have not failed and are not failing and are not socialist, only to some extent social-democratic; the difference is important. Venezuela is something a lot nearer to socialist, and for them it don't work so good, but social democracy works just fine.
